11/09/2025: Staff were super and quality of food excellent . Well worth the visit and not unreasonably priced. Cheesecake was a little disappointing but still tasty, never had to scrape it from inside a jar before 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m just used to a nice slice with a crispy base.

06/09/2025: My husband & I were desperately looking for somewhere to eat in Buncrana that allowed dogs in. We had absolutely no luck whatsoever, so my husband decided to go into Ubiquitous & ask the owner if there was any way they would accommodate the 3 of us. We were delighted that he agreed and we had a first class meal. I had a duck dish which was absolutely gorgeous, as were all the trimmings. My husband's sea bream was equally delicious and both meals were beautifully presented. The service was very good and staff were very friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you want an excellent meal at a reasonable price. We will definitely return should we be in Buncrana again.

12/09/2025: Amazing experience at Handsome Burger last weekend. Visited with my 15 yr old niece who really wanted to go there for her birthday, my husband & two kids. It was raining out, we were relieved to get in out of the rain and find there was a table on a busy Sat night. But the music was quite loud - nice for me, very buzzy - but way too much for my autistic 6yr old son. He was upset and wanted to leave. I explained the situation to our lovely, kind & empathetic server, Matthew, who immediately said no problem and went to turn the music down. My son was delighted and we all were too. We stayed and had the most wonderful food, Matthew continued to mind our table, seeing if there was anything we needed, and gave the kids a free ice cream treat at the end. Amazing experience, thank you. And please give Matthew a pay rise - he’s one in a million. We’ll be back.

The live traditional Irish music is a major highlight, with talented musicians playing lively sets that get everyone's feet tapping. The staff are incredibly friendly and provide excellent service, adding to the genuine, warm "craic" of the place. It’s the perfect spot to experience authentic Irish pub culture, whether you’re a local or a tourist. A definite must-visit for a true Dublin experience.

06/09/2025: Canadian couple dropped in while staying write down the street from the Hampton Hotel in Downtown Dublin the food was excellent and the service was even better. Nice local young man complete with the poor boy hot and great accent served us with exemplary style and was very entertaining. Highly recommend if you're visiting

13/07/2025: I dunno what the heck is wrong with this place. I'm new to Cork, Clonakilty and Ireland in general and was denied entry simply because I was alone. Although I've never been in.... I'll certainly never be back. Head to GG's instead! These guys are funny as hell saying they were closing at 21:00. Lots of lads had said the "security" staff packing roofies. Didn't believe it until that night.

18/07/2025: Beautiful food. Sweet potato side was unreal. Chips were phenomenal. Even the bread beforehand was delicious My duck main was phenomenal, my fiancé wasn't overly impressed with the aubergine main but maybe just wasn't hungry enough. Would try something else instead. Everything was delicious. Everybody elses food looked top class. Lovely atmosphere and ambience The creme brulee was the most mouth watering we've ever had. Celebrated our engagement and birthday in style. We will be back again Great service also.

24/08/2025: Recommended by the owner of our B&B for its delicious, well-sourced oysters. We ate well, and the staff was super friendly. The oysters and mussels were delicious.

24/08/2025: We came across this last night in Doolin on 23/08/25 We ordered 5 pizzas, which weren't great at all.. They used cheap bases, and all 5 people thought they weren't great. That was a mixture of children and adults. I had ordered the Riverside chicken.. Which was the last to come out by about 10 minutes +++ The dinner was presented well, but when I cut into it.. the chicken was raw.. I called the waitress over, and she said I'll bring it to the kitchen, and they'll sort it out. I said no thanks 😒 I don't want it now. I spoke to the manager.. Who said they were trying to get all the food out together, and they were doing their best. But I said the chicken was completely raw in the middle, and I could I have gotten very sick . Not once did the manager or waitress apologise. They said I was very aggressive.. which is not through . I never complain 😌 but I obviously had to on this occasion. I would not recommend this restaurant ever..in fact ..I'm surprised it's still opened .please don't eat here.

31/08/2025: Delicious and filling meal! We started off arriving 30 mins late after a problem with our car, but staff were very accommodating. Settled in to the tasting menu and everything was gorgeous and perfectly cooked. They adjusted nicely when one guest had intolerance to cream. Was expecting to leave hungry after some reviews but was completely full at the end - particularly after the focacia and almond cake. Fish course was particular highlight, lamb dish slightly salty for my taste. Overall would highly recommend - specifically to have tasting menu as dont think would be as worthwhile to have a la carte.
