15/04/2026: Had a most pleasant experience visiting the Copper Still on Mothers day this year. We were returning from a trip to Enniskillen and had passed this premises on numerous occasions but were in a hurry home, luckily were had time to stop and check it out. We could see that it was quiet busy, given the day that it was , but on entering the restaurant/pub we were warmly greeted and a table was found to accommodate us very impressed as we hadn't made a booking and just walked in. My first impressions were that it was warm, clean and the staff we very friendly. We ordered a main which was served promptly and efficiently, I had the steak with onions and mushrooms and chips, my wife had battered fish of the day. All was served piping hot and freshly cooked, it was delicious to say the least. We both had deserts and coffee's and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. To sum it up, Great food served by dedicated friendly staff , management was ever present and directing this perfectly, warm and clean. I couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend a visit if you are passing and in fact we would book and drive back to it specially for the food. Well done all in the Copper still.

01/01/2026: Nice bar with authentic old school features. Appreciated the lack of TV's and music. The Bar staff were indifferent at best and the vitamin G was just fine but not outstanding. Kitchen was closed so could not try the food, chef apparently is in "rehab"!

29/04/2026: Decent food, but the fish chowder was not creamy enough. Fish and chips and shepherd's pie were alright. Service was good.

04/05/2026: Lovely cosy place,but half the place inside was empty and we were waiting standing there like a spa, we waited 15 minutes , them this woma came and told us to wait another 10 😂and there was more empty tables reserved than anything else, you may start prioritizing the customers more lads shocking fair play to Mohamed should let him deal with customers at the door inn

21/04/2026: Had the most amazing food in Doyle’s tonight, we were a table of 3 and went for a selection of the small plates followed by 2 deserts to share. Nothing disappointed, food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and extremely friendly!! Can’t recommend enough, book in advance though as it’s quite busy!

11/05/2026: Peoples in Cavan was an amazing experience from start to finish. The dishes are beautifully presented, full of flavor, and the menu has plenty of great options at very reasonable prices. The pork belly starter was absolutely sensational, and the portions are very generous too. The cocktails are mouthwatering, and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is stunning, modern while still feeling elegant and classic. Everything we tried was delicious, and you can really tell there’s a lot of care put into both the food and the overall experience.

06/04/2026: We’ve been at Glass Curtain twice now, including a Valentine’s dinner, and it has been excellent both times. Food is outstanding—every dish feels well thought out and full of flavour. The wine pairing was spot on, and overall the experience felt really special from start to finish. On our Valentine’s visit, we were even surprised with an extra course for Pancake Day, which was a lovely touch. Service is top notch—attentive, professional, and consistent. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a special occasion. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to.

24/04/2026: A great waiter really put on a show for me made the pizza right under my nose really made me feel at home he had really nice hair and some stunning eyes. He was about 5’6 or around that with fairly big deltoids and a decent size forehead. He knew loads of Irish was telling me how he has a savage Irish teacher and has great passion for Irish he thought me the phrase “pog mo hon” really nice lad will definitely be coming back☘️🎉🥳

19/04/2026: Very friendly, bubbly atmosphere. Uncomplicated and welcoming. Had the salmon special - rich combination of flavours. And thank youto the kitchen staff for the "Happy Anniversary" message you wrote in chocolate icing around the delicious pear and almond tart!!! Lovely touch!

11/05/2026: This was an Amazing visit to Davitts of Kenmare, from start to finish. We booked 4 x rooms for one night in April and it was perfect. My husband dealt with the owner David as it was a surprise for my 60th Birthday. He was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were lush, cosy and spacious and exactly what we loved. He gave us early check-in so my adult kids could decorate our room for me with balloons & ribbons. The staff were so kind and so friendly. We ate in the bar that evening and again at breakfast the next morning and the food was superb...could not fault it. A lovely quaint bar/restaurant with everything we needed. The next morning we checked out and said our goodbyes and decided to take a wander around Kenmare but as we were about to head to our cars (about 90mins to 2 hours later) one of the staff spotted my daughter and her partner and gave her my house keys, wallet and an item of clothing that we had left in our room and had forgotten about 🙈. We would have been home before realising so again the service above and beyond was second to none. We could not recommend the Davitt enough and we cannot wait to go back. Please visit- you will not regret
