Tibhurca, Clonbur
06/07/2026: Dorrota, Justyna, and Dominik are fantastic! Excellent food and brilliant service. You need to come here for truly quality food, and very friendly service. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is in a lovely setting. Live music made the night even more enjoyable. Portion size was truly filling but it did not take away from the quality of the food.
02/07/2026: We had such a wonderful meal here recently. The food was absolutely delicious and presented with such care. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful.
I was particularly impressed by the curry, which came with a perfect side of naan bread. It was a hearty and comforting dish that hit the spot. We also really enjoyed the pasta and the roast, as each plate was cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere was lovely and the whole experience was truly enjoyable. It is rare to find a place where every single dish is this consistent. We will definitely be coming back soon for another visit.

Davitt's
Kenmare
15/06/2026: Dogs aren't allowed in the inside bar but they have a good sized beer garden at the back (accessible from the street behind) which is dog friendly. And if you're solo with dogs - as I was - you can order and pay from your table
14/06/2026: We were absolutely thrilled! The burgers were simply amazing – juicy, fresh, and incredibly tasty. The service was also excellent: very friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt welcome. To top it all off, we had a dessert that was equally superb and perfectly rounded off our visit. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant! 😊🍔🍰

Waterville-spunkane
27/05/2026: Hopefully it's sunny in waterville when you arrive as its a beautiful place and looks stunning on a nice day. The villa is so welcoming, not just for your stay but for food and drink. The atmosphere 👌. Food is reasonably priced and is amazing. And make sure your there for the weekend as the band on a Saturday night was perfect
23/05/2026: Located well on the main drag. Excellent staff

Darkey Kelly's
Dublin
14/07/2026: Another great pub experience while we were in Dublin. The traditional Guinness beef stew is (sorry for the cliche) to-kill-for! Great locals’ pub with music 7/7.
14/07/2026: Loved the pub, good atmosphere. If its full, try the beer garden in the back of the pub - though you have to go order yourself.

Rosato's
Moville
17/07/2026: Only tried here a few weeks ago and had the pizza every week since and think about it all the time lol. Chips were a bit on the hard side would prefer them softer, but only had them once so can't really judge. Staff are always so nice and friendly even when they are busy. My favourite spot atm
03/07/2026: Stopped here after walking the Moville Shore Path, a stunning 2.5 hour return walk from Moville to Greencastle (stops for pics and dog on beach included). Inside was packed and buzzing but we sat in a pod outside because we had a dog with us. The pizza was 😋 as was the very generously sized fish encased in the lightest, crispiest batter I have ever tasted! We ate here two nights in a row & will eat here again when we return soon to the stunning Inishowen Peninsula

Dela
Galway
06/07/2026: Disappointing, fry was less expensive than a small breakfast burger and had to pay extra for an egg.
Seating uncomfortably close to next table.
Coffee was late. Staff very pleasant however.
06/07/2026: I found this place while deciding where to have brunch during my day trip to Galway. To start with the conclusion, the staff were very friendly and nice, but I should have ordered the Eggs Benedict or pancakes instead.
I was debating between the Mushroom and this one, but since it came with a poached egg, I ordered this one. It was really tasty, but the egg was really, really bad. The yolk was a runny yolk that was almost fully cooked, and the egg white had a chewy texture due to the egg white skin, which wasn't good at all.
The fries were just okay. The cutting was also poor, and they were fluffy, so if you're planning to order the mushroom toast, I think ordering a drink is a must!
I saw some Korean reviews and decided to visit.
I really loved the service—it was warm and thoughtful.
But the food was a bit disappointing… Did I expect too much? 🥹
The poached egg wasn’t really poached—the yolk was almost fully cooked.
That said, the mushrooms were nutty and had a really nice texture. I actually enjoyed that part.ᐟ.ᐟ
They(on review) had eggs Benedict with bacon, I think!
If you want to try something, go for it—or get the pancakes 🥞

The House
Dublin
09/07/2026: Long story short: staff were great. Don’t eat here if you’re vegan or plant-based. Very limited options.
Giving 5 stars because the staff did an excellent job of not wasting my time (which I appreciate). I called over the phone to confirm they have vegan options, and the Google Reviews said there were good vegan options available. But when I arrived, I discovered this is not the case. “Vegan options” means plain avocado toast or a bowl of leafy greens. There are so many restaurants in Ireland (even way out in the countryside) who offer excellent vegan options. Support those establishments instead.
01/07/2026: Lovely atmosphere, food was awesome, and staff were warm & friendly.
Thanks for the great experience - and for re-setting my expectations. What I mean is, so many people in the US told me I would not find too much "good food" in Ireland and warned me I would have to eat Indian food or kebab if I wanted flavorful meals.
We had the mussels & chips (broth was a touch too salty but still great!) along with the pasta & prawns. Irish soda bread was great as well.

Market Lane

23/05/2026: Second time here — this time for lunch — and it definitely didn’t disappoint. From the welcome to the service and all the way through to the bill, everything was spot on. Had a really great time again and we’ll definitely be back. Plus, the food is amazing!
23/05/2026: Beautiful spot to eat, helpful staff but the famous stew lamb hardly had any taste

Lowry's Bar
Clifden
09/06/2026: I went there to try the Irish whiskeys, and my girlfriend ordered the Dulay gin with Fever Tree tonic, the best tonic in my opinion. The prices are reasonable, and the waiter gave excellent advice.
06/06/2026: Having looked in all other bars in Clifden I would always choose this spot. Lovely friendly staff, great music, clean and tasty pints. Plus super welcoming to our dog. Thanks lads 😊

Cronins Restaurant

29/04/2026: Decent food, but the fish chowder was not creamy enough.
Fish and chips and shepherd's pie were alright.
Service was good.
28/04/2026: Lovely food. Our birthday girl was made to feel very special! Thank you!

Mary's
Dublin
07/07/2026: What appears to be a small pub from the outside is much bigger than expected. With an interesting decor and organization. It also has a large burger place on the lower floor. Which was actually great quality for a fast food venue.
27/06/2026: We went to the pub for drinks and not for food (they are co-located spaces) and it is self service. It is a beautiful place, relaxed, in my opinion not one of the nicest in the city but definitely one of the most well-known and busy!
Very reasonable prices.

de Barra
Clonakilty
24/05/2026: We ended up at DeBarra's on a Monday evening via a travel guide. Every evening there is live music by local musicians. The atmosphere is intimate, and you can sit comfortably in front of the fireplace. Highly recommended.
15/05/2026: We stopped in with a small group for drinks, conversation and music. Loved the atmosphere and the music. If you want beer or booze, they have all the Irish choices. And the bartender, working alone, did a pretty amazing job of keeping up with a crowded bar room. Don't ask for a cocktail, though. They don't serve them.
