09/11/2024: We ate in the bar. I could not praise the young man serving us highly enough. He was so pleasant, attentive and friendly. Made for a really relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

The bar was close to dead maybe 15 people. bar tenders ignored me while I waited to order drinks but they were quick to serve any man who approached the bar. At one point a short line had formed behind me and the bar tender I kid you not looked right past me and asked the man standing in the line behind me for his order. When I said "oh I think I was next". He just laughed.

06/11/2024: Small restaurant with a big atmosphere. Great service from the team, smiling and helpful. Seafood chowder was delicious, the lamb was incredibly soft and tasty, you could cut it without using your knife.
We will definitely come back.
01/11/2024: This is a great restaurant that accommodated four of us on a Monday night before closing. The lamb and duck dishes were delicious. The dessert options were plentiful, with the sticky toffee being the highlight. The wine selection was also great.

We also ordered the fish stew 'large' this was very disappointing! Fish was over cooked! Over all quantity and quality are definitely not worth the prices here! We felt ripped offπ₯

McDermott Pub on September 24th, 2024 and the atmosphere and energy that evening was quite special..a full house of customers deeply interested in Irish music responded to this band this evening.. as we arrived the clapping and joy of response was so good to hear...our evening was special..
