15/03/2025: Rúibín means ‘small ruby stone’ & this place really is a Galway gem! The perfect location for lunch on a sunny day. We had some beautiful Portuguese wine, Korean Fried Chicken, Hot Smoked Rainbow Trout, Ballymakenny Pink Fir Potatoes (with the best garlic dip I’ve ever had), Sticky Date & Treacle Pudding, Chocolate & Pistachio Tiramisu. All delicious! Staff here are incredibly friendly, helpful & efficient. Thought the prices were very reasonable considering your surroundings, the location of the restaurant & the standard of food & service which we received. It’s a 10 from us!

04/03/2025: Rows and rows of beautiful whiskey bottles embrace you as you sit at the bar. This place is world class for Irish whiskey 🥃 selection coupled with truly welcoming service. The staff is very knowledgeable and at the ready. Ten beer 🍺 taps flowing with hard to find Irish ☘️craft. Food was solid as well! When in Killarney- stop on by for some good spirits. 08/03/2025: DeVilles is by far the best restaurant in Dalkey and definitely is one of our top three in Dublin. It’s a lovely bistro with a great ambiance and the staff are all amazing. The food is excellent,we love the french onion soup,crab,burgers and the sole here,all served with a smile. We can’t wait to return.

The location is great only a 10 minute walk to the city centre and close to the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus route for all the sights of the city. We had a wonderful St Patricks weekend and were sad to leave the Schoolhouse Hotel & Gastrobar... We can only recommend....*****

The decor has a charming, slightly old-English vibe, making it feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional – the reception team, the restaurant staff, and the bar crew were all top-notch and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. The hotel is situated in a lovely, peaceful area, yet it’s just a short distance from the heart of the city, making it the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. The beds were super comfortable, and we had a restful night’s sleep every time. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dublin – it’s a true hidden gem with wonderful service, great amenities, and a fantastic location!

23/02/2025: Nuala, Valeria and all the team at Killarney Royal gave us the best welcome ever and made sure we had a most memoriable mid term treat, Roxanne at the leisure centre so kindly dried our daughters hair and pleated it to such a wow standard it would not be matched at any hair salon, looking forward to returning to the Killarney Royal again. Huge thanks from the O'Sullivan Family, Co Cork......

31/12/2024: We were amazed with the food at Solas. Very attentive staff. Beautifully presented. The only problem which isn't their fault was a large group who were extremely loud. It's such a small, intimate place that the noise level is pretty bad.

17/12/2024: After the ridiculously expensive "meal" we had in Solas last week we won't be going back ever again.This place is like the Emperor's new clothes. The prices have reached a mocking their customers level and the quantity and quality of the food,a lot of deep fried food,has been lowered significantly. Know where your food comes from indeed.Combine this with the price of the wine,(they should be ashamed of the mark up per glass) and you not only feel hangry leaving but you also feel like you've just been mugged.

07/03/2025: We ate here for the first time in October 2024. Absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the impeccable service. Excellent value for money and the standard of food is the best experienced in a very long time. This is a must visit if in County Donegal. The beef cheeks and monkfish mains were superb.

10/02/2025: Superb food, starters mains and puddings, All 4 diner's chose different ones, tasting each other's choices. All agreed everything was lovely. The wine list was extensive and fairly priced. The Lemon Tree is not cheap, but rightly so. One you should not miss when in Letterkenny
