The Junction Bar
01/04/2024: We stopped here for lunch on our road trip, quiet, cosy, very welcoming and friendly staff with fantastic view over the bay. Highly recommend the mackerel melt with the home cooked chips, delicious and great value. š®šŖ

The bar had plenty of staff, but service was a bit slow.
It was very busy for food which looked to be good.
When busy, it can be very loud and difficult to carry on a conservation.
16/02/2024: Food was absolutely amazing. The seafood chowder was the best of our whole trip. Fun and cozy atmosphere and staff was wonderful. Itās a must if you are in Ennis!

02/04/2024: Our room was a bit rancid. I wanted to get out the cleaning cloth, the vinegar cleaner and then give it a good wipe. The breakfast was really good. The staff very friendly. A fire alarm was somewhat surprising in the middle of the night. But there was no fire, there is always something. The castle is right around the corner and you should see it.

05/04/2024: The atmosphere was phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The live music sounded amazing. The service was on top and the food came quickly. I had the vegetarian fajitas. For me, they were a little bit too spicy but I also have a low tolerance for spicy food. I highly recommend to go there. The pub is well located.

04/04/2024: Chicken wings and chips where nice and a good pint of Guinness, however the staff didnāt seem to bothered to ask if I wanted food or a drink, while standing at the bar more people came in and the staff seemed very happy to help them immediately with a table and food menus

30/03/2024: This place absolutely deserves the high ratings. My mom and I couldnāt decide what to get, so we both ordered the āseafood platterā, which I think should be called the seafood sampler because itās samples of the various fish dishes they have on the menu. Really great way to try a bit of everything (some veg also came on the side) and it was delicious. The servers were also all very nice. My only complaint is that they didnāt have any chocolate desserts!
12/03/2024: I have visited this restaurant 6 times in the last 8 months, each time bringing a different group of family or friends to dine with us and it never fails.
Andersonās Boathouse Restaurant is seamlessly run restaurant with the nicest staff and offers a delicious selection of starters, mains, desserts & cocktails. The seafood is the nicest Iāve tasted anywhere in Ireland. This place is not to be taken lightly! When you go, you just want to indulge in all the beautiful food & drinks. The staff are so personal, from the waitresses, to the manager to Garry himself coming out of the kitchen for a chat. Thank you for amazing service and food.. see you again in a few weeks.

02/04/2024: Busy wee place, had to wait on a table, but it was definitely worthwhile !! Seafood chowder and prawn sandwich was fantastic, also had the Fish takes and garlic potatoes, all was spot on and the craic was good!!
Staff and owner and people were lovely, definitely worth the visit!! 2 Main meals and 4 drinks for less than ā¬55!!
Will return during summer.

04/04/2024: Wow, impressed on all aspects! The staff, particularly Claire, was absolutely incredible. The food was so delicious, I ate every last bite and got more for the road. Visiting from Atlanta, GA, USA; this food was amazing. Highly recommend stopping here!!
