06/04/2026: Quirky bar with odd artwork on walls for sale. Like a working men’s club feel inside. Always busy with a mix of locals and tourists. Something to look at everywhere so you will not be bored. They also serve toasties.

08/02/2026: Popped in for a drink and sandwich after hearing great reviews , we were refused service stating we “were after too many” absolutely sober On a Sunday afternoon with shopping bags, all because a man ordered a gin & tonic and not a pint because apparently a sober man never orders a gin as stated by the bar man. Horrified by the way we were treated in our own city. Won’t be returning.

13/04/2026: My partner and I stayed at Davitts for two nights recently and could not have had a more pleasant experience. The room was spotless and very spacious with a great shower! Food was excellent especially the breakfast, highly recommend the porridge! The staff were all very welcoming to us, especially David who was very friendly and we had great chats with. The location is perfect nestled right in the middle of town with plenty of options for food and bars around. Could not recommend Davitts more, we will definitely be recurring visitors.

17/04/2026: The best rhubarb crumble I've ever had! I've been here a few times and have never had a bad experience, food is delicious, staff are friendly, would highly recommend!

01/04/2026: Very friendly and welcoming staff. All cooked fresh to order! We much preferred this to our meal at The Fish Box to be honest, and at a fraction of the price.

27/03/2026: Sadly let down with hygiene, handling money and things then making burgers is really poor practice, no one washed their hands at any point and if that's the standard up front I hate to think what the rest of the operation is like. Food quality was unimpressive, soggy chicken burger not hot and chips not great.

15/04/2026: We were a group of 4 on a quiet Tuesday night. We were staying locally in a hotel but wanted to try somewhere else. We were not disappointed! From the moment we met Christina we knew we had made the right decision. Her warm welcoming per sonality and helpfullnes over food choices added greatly to the enjoyment of delicious food ... Lovely cocktails and deserts and fine red wine. A lovely experience on a wet Tuesday night in Cavan Town.

06/04/2026: We’ve been at Glass Curtain twice now, including a Valentine’s dinner, and it has been excellent both times. Food is outstanding—every dish feels well thought out and full of flavour. The wine pairing was spot on, and overall the experience felt really special from start to finish. On our Valentine’s visit, we were even surprised with an extra course for Pancake Day, which was a lovely touch. Service is top notch—attentive, professional, and consistent. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a special occasion. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to.

31/01/2026: The Woodfire is a great place to eat and dine, if you have a hankering for Pizza. Wifey and Hubby went with a couple of friends. And all were happy and full with the menu. Wifey and Hubby Haven't been back for at least 6 odd years. Back then the menu range was bigger and more diverse. Now they are more selective, specialising in pizzas. A decent meal option, which they do very well. Hubby was silly, opting not to pizza, in a place that specializes in oven pizzas. Everyone else did, hubby went with the lamb burger, which was great, but was something he did regret. I like Pizza, I prefer a deep pan style myself, here they prefer the thin crust. but the question hubby asked himself was would I order it for dinner? Still Wifey had the pineapple one, which I had a few slices of. Regardless of the pineapple topping, I cannot fault it in the slightest. The only disappointment with the menu was the lack of desserts or even coffees at the end. We all left full and not wanting more, but I wish there was something available to end the meal. Side note, the chips are good too. Hand cut and homemade. A small decent high quality portion. Either way a great place to eat pizza and wine. Or in Hubby's case IPA, definitely recommend...

31/03/2026: Honestly, best restaurant in Dingle. Food was delicious. Not too heavy, banging flavors and well balanced. Our party all ordered from the small plates and nibbles. Padron peppers are a must as is the hot and cold crab salad and lamb kebab. Really friendly service too. Complimentary drinks for my father's birthday too which was very kind of them. Overall, its hard to fault anything. Thank you all at Doyles
