09/06/2026: I broke my “never eat at the same place twice” rule for Darkey Kelly’s… and I’m not even mad about it. The restaurant is a bit of a battlefield for tables but play the long game and you’ll win. Once you’re in, it’s pure payoff: THE BEST fish and chips, and a stew that feels like it’s been cooking in Dublin’s soul for centuries. Zero complaints about the service, the servers were quick, on it, and pleasant. I went in expecting a decent pub meal and left questioning whether I’ve ever actually had fish and chips before this moment. Bottom line: chaotic, lively, and absolutely worth it.

21/04/2026: Had the most amazing food in Doyle’s tonight, we were a table of 3 and went for a selection of the small plates followed by 2 deserts to share. Nothing disappointed, food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and extremely friendly!! Can’t recommend enough, book in advance though as it’s quite busy!

15/06/2026: Dogs aren't allowed in the inside bar but they have a good sized beer garden at the back (accessible from the street behind) which is dog friendly. And if you're solo with dogs - as I was - you can order and pay from your table

14/06/2026: We were absolutely thrilled! The burgers were simply amazing – juicy, fresh, and incredibly tasty. The service was also excellent: very friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt welcome. To top it all off, we had a dessert that was equally superb and perfectly rounded off our visit. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant! 😊🍔🍰

08/05/2026: This restaurant really stands out in limerick, probably one of the best dining experiences in the city and beyond. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by very polite friendly and smiling staff. It’s quite difficult to choose from the menu because all the dishes sound amazing. Finally when we decided we had some delicious fresh bread and butter, the prawn and chorizo pil pil was outstanding couldn’t get enough of it , fish cakes delicious and the lamb was unbelievably soft and juicy. The staff were extremely attentive without be overbearing, no hovering. Superb service. I would dine here again in a heartbeat. This has to be where you dine if your only in limerick for one night and a must if your here any longer.

11/05/2026: Peoples in Cavan was an amazing experience from start to finish. The dishes are beautifully presented, full of flavor, and the menu has plenty of great options at very reasonable prices. The pork belly starter was absolutely sensational, and the portions are very generous too. The cocktails are mouthwatering, and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is stunning, modern while still feeling elegant and classic. Everything we tried was delicious, and you can really tell there’s a lot of care put into both the food and the overall experience.

09/06/2026: I went there to try the Irish whiskeys, and my girlfriend ordered the Dulay gin with Fever Tree tonic, the best tonic in my opinion. The prices are reasonable, and the waiter gave excellent advice.

06/06/2026: Having looked in all other bars in Clifden I would always choose this spot. Lovely friendly staff, great music, clean and tasty pints. Plus super welcoming to our dog. Thanks lads 😊

23/05/2026: Second time here — this time for lunch — and it definitely didn’t disappoint. From the welcome to the service and all the way through to the bill, everything was spot on. Had a really great time again and we’ll definitely be back. Plus, the food is amazing!

18/05/2026: Absolutely amazing gastropub...we didn't have a reservation and it was very busy but the staff very patiently dealt with us and we ended up eating our dinner at the bar area which was fantastic. The food was amazing and the staff were outstanding. They even ordered us a taxi to get home.... I cannot recommend this place to highly.... Oh and the Guinness was amazing.....

25/05/2026: Nice pub, away from the city centre a bit. Weather was great, went after a Cork GAA game so was quite busy. Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed!
