Man Friday in Kinsale

The tastiest meal I've had in a long time! I think I could eat everything on the menu! The sweet potato was a side dish, but it almost beat the rest, it was that good!

Excellent food, sevice and setting. The starter bisque was the nicest soup I've ever had and the sole for mains was perfect. Cant wait to go back.

Without a doubt, the nicest tomato soup I've ever tasted. Followed up with a delicious 10oz sirloin 😁 100% somewhere will be visiting again

This fabulous place has lost some ground recently. Serving frozen pre cut chips is a huge dissapointment for me, i can stay at home for that. Dessert was lovely, setting is hard to beat.

Absolutely loved our visit to Man Friday! ⭐️ The staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The prawn cocktail was incredible and the lobster was the real star of the show — fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared. 🦞 Such a lovely atmosphere, fantastic service and genuinely gorgeous food. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend! 👌✨

Excellent restaurant, great service. Booked last minute and staff could have not been more accommodating. Food was excellent.

Food was lovely here and portion sizes were good. Service was a little abrupt though. We were sat right by the bar and service desk so every minute or so we heard the phone ringing and staff chatting to customers. Felt it was a very rushed meal - bread was taken away without the offering of us to keep on the table before our main meal came. Younger staff seemed more attentive with the tables that they were serving.

Really enjoyed Man Friday. Went early bird. Food was beautiful rustic, very hearty food. Portion sizes surprised us, very large. My starter soup of the day must have been a least 1 litred worth😂. Went woth Short Rib main great portion and melt away beef on mash with really grave made from the beef juices as it should be. Roast veg side again perfectly done. Stuffed to burst my now, Dessert had to be the homemade ice cream to melt into what space i had left in my belly. Staff were nice, decor, atmosphere and views over the town are amazing. Only thing is when booking ask for a window seat looking over the bay and town. We got put in the back.

It was fabulous. Out of the beaten track in the side of a hill with view to the bay (not all tables). Efficient service. Good variety of choices. Decent wine list. Delicious desserts. We have tried the rump of lamb and the Filet steak. Both fantastic. Apple crumble was the coronation of a fantastic dine out.
