06/07/2024: Isaac’s restaurant is always top of my list to visit when in Cork. There is lots of choice on the menu and the food is always delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. Yet again a great experience this visit and I’ll definitely be back.

21/06/2024: Frauline at the front reception was rude. Won’t go back. Upon entering there was an abrupt, “we’re closed and open at 5:00”.

23/06/2024: Have been before and liked it, this time it was very busy, perhaps they were understaffed but we had a mediocre experience. Dam pricey too, small dessert was €10, starters €10, Mains €25. 2 glasses of wine each €16 and there was 5 of us in the family... so €300. Money is one thing but we had Very little attention given, they forgot to bring the veg, then it came late, same with a side order for 2 or our group. Meat was tasteless, also a limited menu which never changes..... pity to see it going backwards, hopefully just a bad night and not complacency?? Giving 1 star because we deserved better for 300 bucks

13/06/2024: Wife and I staying in a cottage in Tulla. About 4 miles away. With no car, we took an Uber to Quin. Quin Abbey is seen for miles. The Abbey Tavern is across the street. The staff is extremely welcoming. We had the seafood chowder (OMG! Incredibly delicious), and roast beef with mash. We ordered too much and took the rest back with us for a 2nd meal. The Abbey has so much charm. Great food, cold beer, great location, wonderful staff. Indoor and outdoor dining available. High recommended.

09/06/2024: Stayed four nights and it was amazing. The room were cleaned and very comfortable The staff would go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

12/07/2024: A Crying Shame Lire Cafe was always my 1st stop whem on a day trip to Killarney, serving proper coffee with comfortable seating and good vibes staff. However, I just felt so ripped off after my last visit when charged €4.60 for a standard 2-shot oat milk flat white in a small cup. It was €0.80 for a few ounces of oat milk. Now mind you, I've already paid for cow's milk and the labour of steaming. This is an extra fee exploiting those having lactose intolerance and/or some sense of Climate Conscience Oatmik is not that dear even what I pay at retail prices. God knows, conventional field grown coffee (as opposed to organic shade coffee) is highly carbon intensive on this own and a massive source of tropical deforestation. Even that Seattle based corporate bohemith with the green logo woke up and stopped charging for plant based milk! Not sure what else to say except it's a crying shame and my last visit there unless they change this policy.

20/07/2024: Gave it a 4 purely on the food. Waitress sat us n gave menus whilst setting our table which clearly needed a wipe. Asked another for cloth n she stood there while I wiped the table down. No smiles on either waitress as they served. Young lad behind bar( lovely head of curls) was very chatty to customers. Food was extremely tasty n we both thoroughly enjoyed it. All in all a pleasant meal .

04/06/2024: My son had been recommended Bunratty Manor Hotel for my Birthday. We were over visiting from England. From the warm welcome to the amazing food, we weren't disappointed. The lovely owner Noel even gave us a lift down to Durty Nellys after. Highly recommend for all.

31/05/2024: Such a great spot, after seeing the staff use the toasters behind the bar I asked what they were making. Ham, cheese, onion, and tomato grilled sandwiches. Went ahead and ordered one and was not disappointed. Such a simple thing that was delicious!

29/06/2024: The fish and chips were good but Dungarvan's fish and chips were better. Moreover, the chili monkfish was good but for anyone who has eaten Costco Asian fish... I would say Costco is about the same. The service was great and the prices were reasonable.

28/06/2024: Get. The. Hake. Bites. OMG. Also - they will make your batter on the fish and chips gluten free and the GF batter is excellent. 10/10. There will be a wait, but it’s worth it :)

28/06/2024: Greeted with a warm smile, had some sparkling water on my table in minutes. Staff were warm, friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. Food was absolutely fantastic. Meatballs for starters and tagliatelle with Italian sausage ravioli for mains.

24/06/2024: It's a great place to stop with a spectacular panoramic view of the ocean. The staff is nice and kind. The food was delicious, the portions seemed large. I highly recommend this place.
