de Barra
Clonakilty
24/05/2026: We ended up at DeBarra's on a Monday evening via a travel guide. Every evening there is live music by local musicians. The atmosphere is intimate, and you can sit comfortably in front of the fireplace. Highly recommended.
15/05/2026: We stopped in with a small group for drinks, conversation and music. Loved the atmosphere and the music. If you want beer or booze, they have all the Irish choices. And the bartender, working alone, did a pretty amazing job of keeping up with a crowded bar room. Don't ask for a cocktail, though. They don't serve them.

Charred
Wexford
02/06/2026: The falafel burger is really nice, chips are just the right ratio of crunch to chomp, onion rings were nice BUT were a lil bit skinny inside da batter but that’s ok I still ate them all no bother, overall seriously nice place, can’t wait to bring my pals here
20/05/2026: I just recently tried this place and am
sorry I waited so long. Their burgers are delicious but I also enjoyed the falafel sandwich.

The Vintage Kitchen
Dublin
24/07/2026: Awesome little gem of a place!! Some here for something different and very delicious. You can taste the joy in the good....made by people that love what they do.
Highly recommend
22/07/2026: This one star is for the appetizers—they were absolutely delicious.
However, the menu requires each person to order two dishes, and one of them must be a main course. When our mains arrived, I finally understood why they have that rule. Otherwise, I think most people would just order different appetizers instead…
I ordered the beef fillet as my main course, but surprisingly, one piece was so tough that I couldn’t chew or swallow it. The quality simply doesn’t justify the price.
One suggestion: if you’re charging this much, you should really use a better-quality soy sauce.
Also, if you’re positioning yourselves as a premium restaurant, the sugar snap peas should at least have the tough strings removed. They were unpleasantly fibrous and difficult to eat.
The dining space is tiny and feels quite cramped.

16/07/2026: I didn't eat so.i can't speak to that. The drink menu and selection are tops! I did an Irish whiskey sampling and the bartender did an excellent job walking me through the differences. Great cocktail menu, great service.

Reel Dingle Fish

05/07/2026: Reel Dingle Fish is one hell of a chipper. Declan is a great guy and makes some fantastic and fresh fish n chips. I’m glad to have had a chat and a bit of craic about our mutual love for New Jersey. Also best curry chips in town!

Palace Bar
Dublin
11/07/2026: Visited a few times over my time in Dublin.
Got some great advice on Whiskey from the bar staff who all pointed me in different directions, all had their favourite, and all were honest about what they didn't like as well.
Great atmosphere, parked up at the bar for a couple of hours each time, yarned to some locals, some tourists, and the staff. Highly recommend.
Also some great beer too. Not just Guinness.

Bastible
Dublin
20/07/2026: Very intimate, and excellent food. Some dishes were better than others, but the overall experience, the accommodation for a dietary restriction, and the stand out dishes more than made up for it, especially for the price. The Birthday dessert and candle was a nice touch. I've seen 2* restaurants put in less effort. The lamb was phenomenal and unlike any lamb flavor we've had before.
28/06/2026: An excellent and well-balanced menu. We ordered wine pairings, and they were superb, with some surprising and very interesting wines. The table we were seated at was also particularly welcoming.
A magnificent experience.

Greens & Co
Galway
09/07/2026: Absolutely love Greens & Co! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There are plenty of healthy and delicious options to choose from, and everything tastes like it’s made with care. The coffee and specialty drinks are amazing too. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and provide great service every time. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a relaxing meal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a wonderful experience!
09/07/2026: I came here for a nice vegetarian meal, where I could relax and sit after my long outing at the cliffs of Moher. When I walked in, I was planning to just order at the counter and take my meal somewhere else, but the lady practically forced me to a table. I had studied the menu online and tried to tell her that I was ready to order without seeing a menu, but she told me to consider. I looked at the menu for 30 seconds before calling her over and ordering. I asked for the Wi-Fi and she turned around and looked at her coworker, rolled her eyes and then pointed at a sign in the back of the restaurant. food did come out, surprisingly quick and tasted fine. I ordered the curry, which came with fried tofu, and I was expecting it to be seasoned like regular Asian tofu, but it was spiced like barbecue ribs. maybe that was on me, I probably could've asked more questions. Anyway, besides the rude lady who served me her coworker was actually quite kind and came over to bring me more napkins when she saw I spilled. atmosphere was great though, nice little restaurant with good vibes.

Lemon Jelly
Dublin
08/07/2026: Coffee here is great! Flat white was made to perfection. A hard find! The freshly squeezed juices were very refreshing and delicious!
I haven’t had their crepes for a good few years but I do remember they were very tasty!
Edit:
Stopped by again, had a savoury crepe and it was quite disappointing. I had a crepe with chicken, cheddar and spinach. The whole dish was very bland, chicken used was definitely shop bought pieces of chicken breast. The crepe itself must have been sitting for a while as it wasn’t even hot. Even with added relish on the side it was all extremely bland. No seasoning at all. All just slapped together
08/07/2026: Amazing food, coffee, and vibes! Pascal is great and very friendly!
