07/10/2025: We came in Sunday evening. There was a live music. Place was half empty. Everything was ok, food was good.

05/10/2025: We really enjoyed our visit, here. The menu was very similar to most of the pubs in the area. We enjoyed the live music.

05/10/2025: Have always been meaning to go in but always forget….. wondered down today after parking in Market cross and my god it was delicious…. Couldn’t fault it at all… Arancini was amazing, Caesar salad was fresh … pizza was suberb… wait staff were fab … the price for two courses was 27 euro… I think 32 for three courses… can’t wait to go back…. Amazing!!!

04/10/2025: Visited La Rivista recently for an early dinner with a friend. My starter, a hallomi salad was good however for me a little drenched with dressing. My main, a slow cooked featherblade dish arrived to table cold so i returned for reheating. On tasting the dish my vegetables, baby potatoes, broccoli and carrots were undercooked, in fact hard and the beef was extremely tough. The main was very disappointing. When we had finished eating the server collecting our plates noted I hadn't finished my main. I told her that the meat was tough and veg were undercooked, she said she would mention to chef. When I paid the bill there was no acknowledgement of my issue which I thought was poor customer service. I didn't want to create a fuss so I paid and left. Would be reluctant to eat there again unfortunately.

10/09/2025: Cute B&B and excellent location. Bar was super cute and food was delicious. However the room was FULL of mold. I got super sick during our 2 nights here. I’m also allergic to mold so anyone traveling with mold sensitivities beware and find a different spot for your stay. We had to keep both windows open throughout the night so I could breathe, but the noise outside kept my partner up.

06/09/2025: We ate after lunch at Blarney Castle and the place is a beautiful tavern that is worth eating at.

04/10/2025: Great fresh seafood. The two of us had 4 small plates to share which gave a great variety of seafood and flavors. Highly recommended.

27/09/2025: Excellent food, service and atmosphere plus great value. The small plates are a must, original and bursting with flavour. Try to get a table in the front part where the atmosphere is so relaxing. This was our favourite restaurant in Dingle during a 8 night stay.

13/10/2025: The staff here are incredible, really made me feel welcome. Thank you again :) I visited to watch the Ireland v Portugal match and was quickly seated to have a good view. The place erupted when Kelleher saved Ronaldo's PK with his foot!! Josie's Stew and the recommended spicy whiskey was great, but the highlight was the Sticky Toffee Pudding. My thanks to the staff for the brilliant recommendation! No live music that night due to some car troubles but not the fault of the tavern.

16/09/2025: Another fine pub in Limerick. Good service, great local beer, the Whitefield Ruby Red, and a classic serving of Irish lamb stew. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

16/10/2025: Second visit to a restaurant often disappoints, but not this time. Confident cooking, generous portions, well chosen wines. Undoubtedly the best monkfish dish I've ever eaten. Efficient but relaxed service. Prices very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Will definitely return for a seafood treat next time I'm in this part of Dublin.

11/09/2025: A very nice experience, quality service and very attentive. The food was well above and beyond expectations, the fish was cooked perfectly, with lots of flavor and a lot of work. Beautiful presentation and very generous portions. The setting is just as enjoyable. Bravo!!!!!

25/09/2025: Just got into town Galway. Our hotel is 30 minutes outside Galway. So we decided to walk through Athenry. A lot of ancient medieval walls and buildings. Quite fascinating! We went to The Old Barracks for an appetizer and a Guinness. We picked a great place. Casual and very friendly. Food apps were great. Fun start to our two days in Galway.

25/09/2025: We specifically sought out Cassidy's because the reviews were very positive. We were not disappointed. We opted for the Early Bird menu and were delighted.

28/09/2025: Very nice Sunday roast. The butter in the focaccia was incredible, both chicken and the beef were very nice as well but we missed a bit more flavor in the gravy. The service was great, everything came pretty quick and the staff super friendly

21/09/2025: A very mixed bag. Focaccia is served cold. The butter wasn’t great. Chicken wings were over done and dry but the sauce with them was nice. The monkfish scampi dish was fantastic. Excellent home made chips. The blackberry cheesecake was terrible - no biscuit base, the cream was grainy, and the dessert portion was small. Service went wrong somehow, was an hour after sitting down that the food arrived. Gorgeous venue inside. Maybe we got a bad service on this particular evening

20/09/2025: Had a delicious decaf vanilla cardamom latte and a piece of chai-spiced carrot cake. The carrot cake was good but it was more a white cake with nutmeg than a proper carrot cake. No real complaints from me, though, because it was still yummy. You can't sit inside if you aren't eating a meal which is annoying, if understandable. We sat on the bench outside.

22/09/2025: The weather wasn't great but the food here was!!! We learned that if you don't eat before 6, you'll have to wait until after 830...but that's true everywhere. Cute place, worth stopping by:)

19/10/2025: We were served undercooked rice in our risotto. Although risotto is Al Dente this rice was so undercooked we were picking crunchy bits from our teeth. The rest of our food was fine however the biggest complaint of the night is, that after we Informed then undercooked rice and the "tried to fix it" it came back undercooked again. After we didnt eat it considering the obvious health risks associated with raw rice they refused to take the price of the risotto off the bill. The staff/manager were actually really nice and understanding of our situation but obviously seemed under some sort of pressure from the owner, who they called to see if it was possible to remove the risotto from the bill which they refused. They then tried to tell me because nobody else complained about the risotto that night then our complaint was invalid(no longer nice and understanding) and because the chef/owner is from Italy ge knows what hes doing. Then when an obviously intoxicated woman on another table began shouting at us that we had clearly never eaten risotto or been to Italy(which added to the insanity of the situation) the management refused to address the fact we were now being charged for an undercooked meal and being berated by a drunk. Final point. Considering it probably cost the restaurant less than 2 euro to make a single plate of risotto, the owner is clearly a cheap cowboy who has no consideration for customers and zero accountability for the short comings of his restaurant.

15/10/2025: Worth recommending to everyone, the 2-course set is good value for money and unimaginable in Dublin

05/10/2025: Lovely place in this quaint village town. Enough space and plenty of customers. And as a bonus after a hearty breakfast you can go and have a walk down by the pier.

03/09/2025: A little gem, the on site bakery is excellent and complimented by friendly staff who make you feel welcome no matter if it’s tea and a scone or a full meal. We always pay a visit when in Rathmullan.

08/09/2025: Great pub where we drank not only our first pint, but many more during our visit to Dublin.

07/09/2025: We stopped in here for our first pint in Ireland. It will get very crowded in the evening.
