22/03/2024: If you are in the area, eat here. You may need a reservation. Service was excellent. I had the captain's plate, which was excellent. My son was a bit less enthusiastic about the Irish Stew, which was good, but a bit thin. My wife loved the pasta that she had. We also enjoyed the live music, which wasn't deafening (Americans take note)! Parking is a little scarce.

21/03/2024: Excellent lunch. We had the prawn and salmon dish, the Caesar salad with chicken, and a portion of garlic butter fries. Service was prompt, friendly, and courteous, and it was very busy for a Tuesday lunchtime (a sign of its popularity)

26/03/2024: I entered because of outside , the view of the bottles make you want to enter , well I did it and I dont regret it at all , the staff , specially Emilia is verry kind, the choices are Incredible. Its a must to do in this city ! Totally love it !

29/03/2024: It’s 5 days after I visited and I’m still dreaming of the croquettes and tartare sauce. This was a phenomenal lunch meal start to finish. The service was incredible, the food was delicious, the wine pairing was perfect, and the restaurants aesthetic is great. I would call this a must visit while in Dublin.

30/03/2024: My favourite spot in KK for breakfast and lunch. The food is so good and staff are friendly and welcoming. I don’t have any pictures from my order because I immediately eat everything, it’s always soo good. I’ve tried almost everything in the menu, full Irish, pancakes, scones, burger, sandwiches, coffee… :) Also their homemade salad dressing is delicious! It’s always busy but the service is quick and efficient. Staff is lovely. I highly recommend this place!

13/03/2024: We arranged to have a nice Mother's day meal here with my parents and family. My sister made the booking and shared all the details. She was then contacted by the restaurant to ask to call into the restaurant to pay a deposit. She was unable to do so as she did not live in Dublin so I did, which I found a bit inconvenient as I have a newborn. On the day of the meal, none of the staff mentioned that the table needed to be cleared by 16.00 until it was 15.45, at which point we had only received our desserts and we were looking to order coffees and tea. The manager (who had come to take the coffee and tea order) told us in quite an abrupt way that we needed to be quick about the order as he needed the table back by 16.00, first time we were told this. We had enjoyed the meal up until this point as we felt that the manager's attitude was quite abrupt and could have been a bit more pleasant. I honestly felt we were short of being pushed out the door. We found the two other waiters on the day to be very nice and accommodating. The experience we had at the end of the meal left a bad taste. Unfortunately, as a local, I won't return to this restaurant.

21/01/2024: Went for food. Perfect service. Everyones starters and mains were delicious and enormous portions. The bread under the baked camembert wasnt to my taste but very little to fault. Desserts were more hit and miss (ice-cream delicious) but you'll be so full from starters and mains you can always skip this course. Highly recommended.

29/03/2024: It was our first time in Simons for the Bbq. It was really lovely. I got the Chicken special. My Husband had the Pulled pork plate and our daughter had the Wings plate. There was a great crowd in. It was a lovely night for us

02/04/2024: completely overpriced because of its location and lack of other establishments. 46.50 for sole 28.50 for starter crab claws Got Seafood chowder. Came in a bowl the size of a sugar bowl, 9.50 . . only had white fish and smoked fish. no salmon or shellfish. The bread that came with it was delicious.
