17/03/2025: Recently visited with a group for a special birthday event. We were seated upstairs. Shortly after sitting down a large party arrived for a birthday celebration also. They were extremely loud and did not take their seats for 15 - 20 mins. The manager did try to get them to take their seats but were slow to do so. The group had no regard for other patrons having their meal. Added to this was a person playing a piano and base guitar which exacerbated the noise level. As a result it was impossible to hold a conversation as you could not hear each other. We asked to be seated downstairs but were told that there was only a table outside. As we were celebrating a special event we wanted a dining experience and not a Covid reminder of having to eat outside. After making our complaint it felt as though our meal was served in a rush to get us out of there as quickly as possible which also impacted on our night. We could see other patrons were struggling also with the noise and another group did leave and took a table outside. If management knew they had a large party booked in (approximately 30) they should not have taken bookings for other groups or simply accommodated them downstairs instead or indeed they should have informed us at the time of booking of another large celebration taking place. It felt as though our custom was not valued as we were not spending as much as the large group even though our meal was over 300 euros. All in all it was down to poor management, and organisation of a venue. The complaint was not handled well either and it felt very dismissive of our night and celebration at the expense of a much larger party. Very disappointed as our night was ruined and members of our party had travelled to be with us but we could not even talk to each other at dinner. This was not an isolated event either as we had eaten here before and a similar scenario happened.

17/03/2025: Terrible dinner experience as a large party ruined the night as they did not consider the rest of the diners. The staff and management did absolutely nothing and when I complained to the manager he just blamed them and made an excuse that more came than had originally been booked.

25/01/2025: Vivimos en el lugar y decidimos darnos un capricho con la cena. Teníamos el cangrejo / langostino en salmón ahumado y el brie para empezar, filete de filete para el plato principal. Todos los platos estaban muy bien presentados y muy sabrosos. Encantador ambiente en el restaurante. La dueña tomó nuestro pedido y es obvio que es muy apasionada por la buena calidad y el buen servicio. Sin duda volveremos pronto.

21/03/2025: My partner and myself had the pleasure of dining here last Sunday. It was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect. The rump of lamp was like cutting into a fillet steak. Perfection.🥰

19/03/2025: Our hotel did not recommend getting a reservation. And we went and there were not many people there at the time that we arrived, but the staff again seemed frustrated that we did not have a reservation. The portions on most meals were very nice. I had a steak that was magnificent. Some people got the shrimp and were disappointed.

14/02/2025: Warm welcome, relaxed friendly atmosphere, traditional Irish pub in a small rural town, full menu, really tasty food, great value for money. Just 2 mins off the N4 on our way to Sligo. Would recommend!

22/02/2025: LOVED this hotel, it’s so immaculately looked after and presented. The staff are so attentive and make a great atmosphere. We went for a Boyne Valley tasting event, the food was really lovely- only criticism is that I was expecting an emphasis on the produce being from Boyne Valley but that was not the case. Can’t wait to go back for more events like that.

13/03/2025: We were desperately searching for food options in the Wicklow Mountains, having mostly come across cafes serving burgers and pizza. Craving something more substantial, we stumbled upon this cafe. The vibe was distinctly small-town, and the cafe seemed to be a popular spot with locals. We ordered a full Irish breakfast and a vegan breakfast, which, by the way, is difficult to find; hardly any cafes offer vegan options. The coffee wasn't great, but that's alright. The iced coffee, however, was good. The view from the restaurant was also lovely. It's a sweet little place in the Wicklow Mountains, and if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely visit. Prices are non expensive.

27/02/2025: I had an amazing time here! The food is delicious but the staff are also extremely friendly, welcoming, and entertaining! They made an effort to sing for my friend's birthday party and even took some photos of our group on our request. Even though we stayed late, they never hurried us out and let us take our time! All of the food choices are fantastic, particularly the lamb curry and duck. I would highly, highly reccomend Isaac's!

23/02/2025: We always stop off here when in dublin, its a most see for the decor and the atmosphere. There's also live music there some nights during the week. They are also pet friendly 😍 Love this place and everything about it. 10/10.

20/02/2025: Loved this special place. Unique combination of cozy pub atmosphere and great fast food chain vibes. Burger pretty expensive but awesome ;-). Go and get it!

16/03/2025: We absolutely loved our time at Killeen! The staff was over the top friendly and helpful! Everything from bringing extra towels, making recommendations, remembering exactly what we drank, making jokes, and making us feel like we were home. The location is a bit off the path but just far enough that you felt you had a private garden experience! The food was fantastic! I would highly recommend the chicken wings from the bar! Absolutely loved our stay!
