Great beer from our own production that tastes very tasty. I recommend the IPA. The prices are fair and the staff is very quick, especially when the worst thing that can happen has happened: the beer is gone!

We just happened to notice that this bar had booths, which kept my dad separate from others (being safe due to his cancer) & the space felt well aired. Plus, it looked clean. T'was a bit cold for him, but he was happy enough to leave his hat & coat on as he felt quite safe eating there. On the specials board by the entrance, I spotted the steak ciabatta with side salad & chips. A new lad brought us menus. I checked out the rest of the specials menu. The young waiter returned to our table, moments later, to take our order. *** ALL IN ALL? My parents both ordered toasties with a sides swap for soup. There was a minor issue with the soups, but another lovely waiter dealt with it straight away. My parents said their toasted special was excellent & the soup was VERY tasty. (€10.- each) 👍 My Steak Ciabatta was very tasty. The beef was tender & juicy. Portion sizes were just right. Reasonably priced food. We all agreed that the staff were lovely, helpful & friendly. We would all recommend a visit to The Kenmare Brewhouse to anyone going for lunch. Finally... Why the 4 Star & not the 5 stars for the atmosphere? The smiles were lacking by staff as we entered. Once we were in, all the staff were so great, I can't fault them BUT for someone just walking in, it is a turn-off. It's the 1st thing we noticed & commented on! I know my mom will be going again, for sure. Me too.

The best pint of Guinness in Kenmare. Food is fine . The staff need to be more attentive to customers, as they seem to be chatting amongst themselves! But nice athmosphere .

Best pub, nice staff and food. Well worth a visit.

Bit of a grumpy waiter, but it didn't ruin our experience ! Good food, great cocktails, and good atmosphere.

We stopped for a late breakfast at the Brewhouse, and got lucky with our impromptu choice. The restaurant was quite big inside, felt new and clean. We ordered the half Irish breakfast the eggs Benedict. Including 2 drinks our total was still only about $22 euro great deal! Visited during August 2023.
