The food was good, but the portions were rather small compared to other places in Ireland. We had a great table in a separate area, but were completely ignored by the staff.

Kenmare has a wide selection of restaurants, and we decided to go to Casey's. It was a great decision, as we were very pleasantly surprised. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.

31/08/2026: We had an exquisite night here. Mike and his team are incredibly personable and Mike loves to come out of the kitchen and meet and greet his punters, he is a lovely man. The setting is fab, and the building has a fantastic story. It was a rent collectors during English rule and then during the great hunger they gave out tickets to sail to America, not free I may add…you had to relinquish your property to the English landlords. Enough about that… the food is excellent. The prawn cocktail is a throw back with modern flare. The catch of the day, Hake, was cooked perfectly, and the scallops were to die for. Love this place and highly recommend it.

O'Donnabhain's Kenmare

15/07/2026: Wonderful stay at ODonnabhain’s. The hosts, Jer and Vanessa, along with the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable during our 3 night stay. Perfectly located in Kenmare, day trips to the Ring of Kerry and the Beara were possible.
15/07/2026: We had a wonderful lunch here! They had a quaint back patio area, well shaded. The food was delicious.
