The best restaurants in Kerry

24/09/2024: The pizza was absolutely delicious and the service was very good. We were only in town for three days but we liked it so much that we came back a second time. Unfortunately we hadn't realized that they were closed on Mondays.

15/09/2024: Great salad. All fresh ingredients and delicious. Veggie Pizza was excellent. Veggie toppings were all fresh. The pizza dough was light delicious and thin. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

19/10/2024: Lucky to get a Saturday booking but welcomed warmly. Great buzz, nice tunes in background. Took a while for food to deliver but the restaurant was hopping. Shared super quality spicy Wings. Had a nice Chardonnay. I ordered fillet medium rare with onion/mushroom base with side of mash potato which I think Roger is famous for!! I’d rattle him a Michelin plaque on that alone. She had a beautifully crisp and hot pan-fried Sea Bass with light sides. Sublime. Against all rules we shared a Tiramusu, which we Googled to mean “a pick up”. It was delicious with perfect moisture and a nice vanilla ice to accompany. Service was lovely, warm and friendly. Particularly Caithriona and stand-in barman Karim. I have known chef Patron Roger all my life. There may be bias, but if you want wholesome food, competitively priced in a very casual surrounding, then check out Stonechat off High Street, Killarney. Happy to say, I never had a bad meal here.

11/10/2024: Great little restaurant and bar tucked away off the main street in Killarney. Just the type of pub you expect or hope to find while visiting Ireland especially because of the staff. Lauren, Suzan and Charlotte were the best. Very welcoming and friendly. I will be sure to come back next time I am in Ireland! You should definitely pay them a visit.

12/11/2024: We had a really spectacular meal on our last night in Kenmare. I can't recommend it enough. The food and presentation was top notch, and the service was friendliest and best we had during two weeks in Ireland. Can't wait to return!

07/11/2024: Had an absolutely amazing meal here - it was well worth it! Beef Wellington, brisket, and the apple tarte tatin made for one of our favorite meals in all of Ireland! Service was excellent too!

27/10/2024: The staff managed to find a table for us as a walk in and we are so glad they did. Service was fantastic, food was one of the best meals we’ve had for a long time - well worth the price. Would definitely eat here again!

27/10/2024: We had a lovely meal at no.35. We were sat downstairs which was a nice intimate vibe, staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, we had the prawn and spinach filo pastry and the haddock smokies for starters and the lamb Ragu and the wagyu burger for mains. We would highly recommend.

28/11/2024: Very cosy, friendly people. Beautifull view (also with bad weather). We had the fish and chips, very crispy! :)

03/11/2024: This loop has very limited dining menu, so it’s great to find this restaurant. Menu is a bit limited but good dish.

11/11/2024: We were here at the weekend and had a great time . The food is wonderful , home cooking and very tasty at a reasonable price too . There was great music on in the bar so the atmosphere was brilliant . We were warmly welcomed and the staff could not have been any more attentive and friendly ! Big mention to the beef and Guinness pie ! Delicious ! Thanks again we will definitely be returning

04/11/2024: Llamado al Danny Mann el sábado pasado a eso de las 2300 con un grupo de unas 10 personas (parejas). El lugar estaba vacío, que debería haber sido una bandera roja, pero la nostalgia nos sacó lo mejor de nosotros, ya que anteriormente habíamos tenido un buen tiempo con amigos aquí. Estábamos divirtiéndonos con algunos cantando y riendo cuando el barman nos rugió para "callar la puta boca". Podrías haber oído caer un alfiler. El barman en realidad maldijo a los pocos clientes que tenía. Este estallido molestó a algunos de nuestro grupo. Una absoluta desgracia. Otro miembro del personal vino a hablar con el barman y luego nos dijo que el bar ahora estaba cerrado como si fuéramos el problema. Nos fuimos poco después y fuimos a un establecimiento de calidad a la vuelta de la esquina y disfrutamos del resto de nuestra noche. Habiendo mirado las críticas anteriores, esto no parece ser un incidente aislado con el personal grosero. Killarney es un lugar maravilloso con grandes pubs y restaurantes, yo recomendaría probarlos en un negocio que parece tolerar que el personal grite y insulte a sus clientes.

14/11/2024: Great coffee and bagel sandwiches. Somewhat hidden on a side-street, but well worth the visit.

07/11/2024: They do really good coffee here. If you’re tired of overpriced coffee, try their coffee ☺️ Milk foam was heavenly cloud

22/10/2024: Amazing service! The lamb boxty was so good and our family of 5 loved the dinner. Early bird was a great discount and our server was amazing! Apple crumble and chocolate cake were a great way to finish!

03/11/2024: What a fun bar! It’s very Irish, though I wouldn’t describe it as lovely—more original, with lots of locals. We just stopped by for a quick coffee break.

06/11/2024: Small restaurant with a big atmosphere. Great service from the team, smiling and helpful. Seafood chowder was delicious, the lamb was incredibly soft and tasty, you could cut it without using your knife. We will definitely come back.

01/11/2024: This is a great restaurant that accommodated four of us on a Monday night before closing. The lamb and duck dishes were delicious. The dessert options were plentiful, with the sticky toffee being the highlight. The wine selection was also great.
