05/12/2025: Fabulous experience from start to finish!! Arrived to our table precisely at 6:30 for our dinner reservations…was greeted warmly by the staff. We studied the menu and ordered our dishes….Loved it all!! Shellfish Bisque…excellent Portmagee Crab Bake…yummy Sea. Bream……definitely expertly prepared!! Enjoyed all the staff, knowledgeable, friendly and full of life!! We shared a house made Lemon tart with ice cream and berry compote…2 Irish Coffees!! Highly Recommended!! Thanks Q&C staffers!!!

28/10/2025: We went for dinner and waited just a couple of minutes to get a table, but it was totally worth it. The food was delicious and you could really taste the quality in every dish. Prices were very fair, and the drinks were great value, especially for Ireland. Definitely a place we’ll come back to!

23/11/2025: I was there yesterday during work break, we filmed the concert in the church across the road. I had apple slice and it was absolutely fresh and beautiful and made with real apples, which reminded me of my grandma's one. Really cool ambient, cat themed cafe and friendly staff. Would visit again if I'm ever in town!

19/11/2025: Stopped in for a coffee and a scone. Lovely cafe and filled with friendly locals. Scone was 10/10!

23/05/2026: Surprisingly the fish tacos were fantastic. It’s hard to find bad fish in Ireland so I didn’t judge it by the fish. The jalapeño mayo and fresh salsa really paired well and were the real winner. The seafood Chowder and Buttermilk Chicken burger were great as well. Well done Anchor!

08/05/2026: Vacationing in Ireland from TX for a week. Came across this place while making a pit stop. I’m glad I did. Best seafood chowder that I could find anywhere in Ireland (and N Ireland for that matter), and I tried at least a dozen different places throughout. Didn’t get his name, but the ma with glasses in some of the photos was super friendly and helpful on helping us navigate some additional places to see in Ireland. It’s a very unassuming place, but a must-stop if you’re anywhere in the general area. There’s parking behind the building and a short walk through a couple breezeways, or as they called them, “laneways”, gets you into the back door of the pub (wheelchair accessible).

10/05/2026: This place was such a pleasant surprise! Absolutely fantastic. We were on our way to Galway and stayed over for a night. There was parking available onsite. Kate and her team are very attentive. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The rooms are over the restaurant so we did not expect much and that’s why we were very surprised. There were assorted fruits in the room and had a full fridge of goodies for breakfast. They also dropped off fresh bread in the morning. We stopped by the restaurant for dinner. Again - we were extremely impressed with the quality of food and the wait staff. It is highly recommended that you get a reservation for the restaurant. It gets full very quickly for dinner. It’s on the main road so it’s nice to walk around.

09/04/2026: I had a wonderful stay at QC’s in Cahersiven. The boutique hotel was warm, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. The restaurant was equally impressive—everything was fresh and full of flavour. The crab bake was absolutely sensational and is a must-try! What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. They were amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay. I’d highly recommend QC’s to anyone looking for great food and a lovely place to stay.

28/10/2025: Food is tasty and the staff are nice but service was extremely slow. After being shown to a table we waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken, we had to flag down a staff member to ask if we could order, then we waited over 40 minutes for our food.

27/10/2025: I had a lovely meal at Bari today — great value, delicious food that came out quickly, and amazing service. The café was absolutely packed (bank holiday chaos!), but all the staff were still so friendly, attentive, and smiling the whole time. I even noticed the chef working away on her own in the kitchen — she absolutely smashed it! Really impressed all round.

28/04/2026: The food was excellent, didn’t stay in the accommodation but would highly recommend for a lovely meal. The sizzling prawns and pan fried hake was beautiful.

03/04/2026: The most delicious food you will get in Cahersiveen is in Eva’s restaurant! If you want flavoursome and classic dishes cooked to perfection, go here ! We had the fish and chips (beautiful hake with lovely light batter), lemon creamy chicken, and spaghetti prawns. Oh my god we licked the plates !

28/11/2025: We were traveling through while we were driving the Ring of Kerry. Found this little Pub to stop in at and had some food and drink. The guy behind the bar was super helpful who turned out to be the owner Tommy. He was also the chef and whipped up some amazing lunch for us. One of the drinks we wanted needed cream so he went down to the store next door and bought some for us. One of the items on the lunch menu was the salmon on toast which was amazing and he went a couple businesses down to the local fish market and got a fresh filet of salmon. We also had some burgers and a wrap and they were all amazing and tasted great. The best part was the commentary and talking with Tommy as he had great ideas of places for us to go and see while we were there some of the best places we saw on our holiday trip we're because of Tommy. Great guy funny full of good ideas. Definitely a place to stop and see if you're in the area. FYI you'll be able to understand him a little better because he's originally from Boston. Tell him the O'Connell sisters and their husbands sent you from the states.

08/05/2026: A very good restaurant, offering original dishes that blend modernity with Irish tradition. For example, the black pudding salad is excellent and generous. Warm welcome, top-notch service. Small parking lot next to the church, limited to 2 hours.

03/12/2025: Great ambiance, nice staff..friendly,great cortado maker…yummy pastries…we had a round berry swirl thingy and an almond croissant….both were made very well within just the right amount of sweetness!! Also took home a rye baguette, it was very good. Looking forward to returning soon for more cortado and pastries!!
