I had dinner at the Anchor Bar recently and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening meal. Had drinks and a super meal here. Excellent service great Guinness and the fish and chips and fish tacos were superb. Great bar service loved the athomphere and very good value. Looking forward to coming back next time we are passing through.

Great experience coming in with the family. Rory and Brian were friendly and hospitable. Great place for young kids. Great outdoor seating. Food was excellent. Highly recommend for authentic Irish hospitality.

Great experience. Bartender / waiter was excellent, food was great, perfect stop on our way for a quiet, delicious lunch. Soup and bread were especially good.

04/11/2025: The best steak sandwich I've ever eaten, good quantity and the waitresses are always very friendly and helpful. My partner and I order for this main whenever we travel, but without a doubt this is the place we always go back to, it never fails!
29/10/2025: Excellent restaurant! Very friendly staff! Baby equipment available. 4 stars, unfortunately because they don't have Guinness.

Lazy Cat Café

23/11/2025: I was there yesterday during work break, we filmed the concert in the church across the road. I had apple slice and it was absolutely fresh and beautiful and made with real apples, which reminded me of my grandma's one. Really cool ambient, cat themed cafe and friendly staff. Would visit again if I'm ever in town!
19/11/2025: Stopped in for a coffee and a scone. Lovely cafe and filled with friendly locals. Scone was 10/10!
