Quinlan & Cooke in Cahirciveen

Both hotel and restaurant are so underrated. I stayed at 6 different hotels while driving through Ireland and this was my favorite accommodation and meal. Had the pleasure of staying in the Orange room. Room was spacious, modernly decorated, and clean. The smart TV with streaming services available was a nice amenity that not a lot of other hotels offered. The breakfast in the mini fridge and the pastries dropped off at night were such a nice touch and so delicious too. Once we arrived, staff guided us to the private parking lot behind the building, helped us settle into our room and fit us into a last minute table at the restaurant. The food was amazing. We ordered from their specials menu and everything tasted so fresh that we devoured all the dishes. I was certainly sad to be just staying for one night as it was the most comfortable stay I had during my trip.

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay during our trip to Ireland last month. The room was spacious, clean, & well appointed. We had the opportunity to also dine here on our second evening and our meals were delicious - the best of our trip! The staff was so friendly, including the owner Kate who we ran into on a couple occasions during our stay. The bar tender from Africa was our favorite (sorry, I’m awful with names 🤦🏼‍♀️). Cahersiveen is a special town and was the perfect location to enjoy the Skellig Michael landing tour along with so much natural beauty & friendly locals. Highly recommend both staying & dining here!

We had a lovely stay at Q&C last week. The rooms are large, clean, and carefully curated with charming amenities. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast delivery to our room each morning, and dinner in the hotel's restaurant was one of the best meals of our trip. Kate, the owner, made special efforts at multiple points during our stay to check in and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We will surely be back - thank you!

A wonderful hotel, with a truly exceptional welcome from Deirdre. The room is spacious, the shower excellent, and the fridge is fully stocked with everything you need for a hearty breakfast. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful boutique hotel, incredibly comfortable rooms and the dinner was fantastic too. Great location, perfect for visiting the surrounding town.

We had an excellent stay at Quinlan & Cooke! The mini refrigerator filled with breakfast items, fresh fruit, and then the bag with croissants and bread left at our door in the morning were a lovely touch and much appreciated. We had an excellent dinner the evening we arrived (hake succotash and fish and chips) and the sticky bread pudding we had for dessert was the best we’ve ever had! The young man at the bar / restaurant was so kind and friendly (we didn’t get his name unfortunately). We would absolutely stay again. Thank you to the staff for creating a friendly, super clean and thoughtfully curated experience for us.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! Absolutely fantastic. We were on our way to Galway and stayed over for a night. There was parking available onsite. Kate and her team are very attentive. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The rooms are over the restaurant so we did not expect much and that’s why we were very surprised. There were assorted fruits in the room and had a full fridge of goodies for breakfast. They also dropped off fresh bread in the morning. We stopped by the restaurant for dinner. Again - we were extremely impressed with the quality of food and the wait staff. It is highly recommended that you get a reservation for the restaurant. It gets full very quickly for dinner. It’s on the main road so it’s nice to walk around.

I had a wonderful stay at QC’s in Cahersiven. The boutique hotel was warm, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. The restaurant was equally impressive—everything was fresh and full of flavour. The crab bake was absolutely sensational and is a must-try! What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. They were amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay. I’d highly recommend QC’s to anyone looking for great food and a lovely place to stay.

Had a fantastic stay at QC’s Boutique Hotel in Cahersiveen. The rooms were lovely and the service was warm and welcoming. The highlight for me was the beef burger, absolutely top class. Highly recommend!
