21/08/2024: We were visiting from the U.S. and stopped for lunch while passing through. A quaint, small, full service restaurant serving an authentic lunch. Very friendly service. Just be aware that they don’t take credit cards.
26/07/2024: Everything about this meal was exceptional. Even the water came chilled and with lime. If you passing, do yourself a favour and eat here.

22/03/2024: Went to Nana Bea's with my friends in February and must say I was appalled by both the slection but mainly the staff. The staff had a face on them that would make you feel as if you were not welcomed. I ordered a sandwich which I asked to be toasted and to my astonishment was charged an extra €3 to get it toasted. I am suprised that a business which makes a profit of €3 to toast some bread has gone under. However, from seeing the staff and owners I am not suprised.
15/03/2024: This restaurant is so beautiful, its unique setting allows you to enjoy your food and company with great service , it is one of my favourite spots to eat , im a creature of habit but from time to time I sample something different on the menu and I'm not ever disappointed.
The staff are always so friendly , Joanne and Trish always greet you with a smile and a friendly chat .
We recently held our grand child's baby shower there ,Trish and the staff couldn't do enough for us , they made the evening amazing .
Make sure to try the yummy Cesar salad believe me it will become your usual dish ..

18/08/2024: The hotel is not really good, but not bad either. The rooms are nice in themselves, but could be better prepared and cleaned. The hotel is in a quiet location, but the neighboring pub can be partying very loudly until 1:30 a.m. The service is nice and attentive, but can't always really help. No parking spaces in the immediate vicinity, but there is a free public parking lot about 300 meters away. The breakfast buffet is sufficient, but no cheese or sausage. The place is rather deserted and therefore there are a lot of locals in the restaurant in the evenings, which probably speaks for the food and service in the house. So if you don't mind too many things right away, you'll find a good place here.
15/08/2024: Beautiful site. Pleasant. Impeccable bar and restaurant service. We came to have a few beers and sleep. Everything very clean.

01/09/2024: Second time this week waited over 20 minutes for my takeaway.Got so sick of it asked for my money back.Got my refund and walked out the door.Wont be going back.Also food not up to the standard of the prices which they charge.
21/08/2024: Ordered a big bite burger and potato bites. Big bite burger was literally the burger bun and burger! No sauce whatsoever, no onions, no lettuce! So dry had no choice only to eat it.. after the price of it and had gone too far away and had waited way too long in DenJoes for it.. so so disappointed!

26/07/2024: Had a tasty seafood pie accompanied by the chefs selected range of salads that had a lot of interesting and delicious tastes and flavours that married well with the main course
A bottle of still water to wash it down followed by a nice soft pastry apple cake cream and coffee
All for €30 Service very attentive by the chef and his assistant
Full recommendation and will definitely call in next time in Castleisland
