Tremendous spot for a Guinness. Great atmosphere, and absolutely spotless. A couple of screens showing the horse racing as well, if that's your cup of tea

The Green Door

29/06/2026: The most friendly lady who went so out of her way to provide drinks and also free soda bread as we had had no decent soda bread in five days! Food was beautiful and would highly recommend.

River Island Hotel

03/05/2026: The hotel's location and rooms are okay. It's an old building with a corresponding ambiance. Breakfast was reminiscent of a school trip, and the service at dinner was disastrous. A wait of almost two hours is far too long under any circumstances. A real shame.
