River Island Hotel in Castleisland

The hotel is not really good, but not bad either. The rooms are nice in themselves, but could be better prepared and cleaned. The hotel is in a quiet location, but the neighboring pub can be partying very loudly until 1:30 a.m. The service is nice and attentive, but can't always really help. No parking spaces in the immediate vicinity, but there is a free public parking lot about 300 meters away. The breakfast buffet is sufficient, but no cheese or sausage. The place is rather deserted and therefore there are a lot of locals in the restaurant in the evenings, which probably speaks for the food and service in the house. So if you don't mind too many things right away, you'll find a good place here.

Beautiful site. Pleasant. Impeccable bar and restaurant service. We came to have a few beers and sleep. Everything very clean.

We slept here for one night while passing through. The rooms are very old, which wouldn't be a problem if they were a little cleaner. Otherwise, it was very pleasant that it was so spacious and had lots of storage space. Our bed was very lumpy and the toilet whistled very loudly when flushing. When we asked at reception whether we could change rooms, the woman was very eager to say that the hotel was probably fully booked. If we had stayed longer, she could have offered us a new room. She was very friendly. Otherwise, the hotel is in a very quiet area, you have to look for parking spaces on the street, there are no hotel-owned ones. The breakfast that was included was sufficient and tasty.

The reception were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee which I always like. I like to wake and have a cuppa before everything else. The only thing that I don’t like is the doors on the corridors going to the bedrooms but that’s just a personal thing and doesn’t take from how nice my stay was there. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel with great staff. Also the food is very good, fully recommended.

Delightfully old-fashioned hotel which is a bit of the social center of the small town, sooo Irish interior, attentive and lovely staff, excellent location, not far from Halbinseln South West, Killarney and the Flughafen von Kerry. Unforgettable stay!

Lovely hotel, nice spaces to sit and grab a coffee

Just had Sunday lunch there ,the food was lovely and the service was great. Will definitely be back for lunch.
