Celtic Whiskey Bar & Larder in Killarney

I entered because of outside , the view of the bottles make you want to enter , well I did it and I dont regret it at all , the staff , specially Emilia is verry kind, the choices are Incredible. Its a must to do in this city ! Totally love it !

This place came recommend by multiple people across our trip. We had both a whiskey flight and a gin & tonic flight. For starters we enjoyed the seafood chowder. We then followed with the short rib, fish and chips, and sliders. Overall the food was ok, truthfully took WA while to get it from ordering even though it had not quite gotten busy yet. The best food item was the short rib, it had a pull apart texture and the mash that came with it was wonderfully creamy. The sliders were also good, quite messy with the extra sauce they put on them. You can pick from the listed burgers. I tried all 3 that were offered and I personally liked the pulled pork sandwich the best followed by the chicken, then the chickpea. The chickpea was quite crumbly and the dominating flavor was the beets on top. The fish and chips was ok, the filet they used was very thick and a very thin batter so it was not for me.

This is a gem of a place to do a whiskey tasting in Killarney. The atmosphere is very inviting, and the service was excellent. They have an overwhelming amount of whiskeys (over 1500 I believe), but our server was very knowledgeable about the whiskeys and gave us some great suggestions to try. They have great food too, I had a delicious cheese board. We loved it so much we went twice during our stay!

A hidden treasure in the heart of Killarney town🪙 (when I say hidden... I mean the entrance is not immediately visible from the street. This gave us a vibe of an old speakeasy). For all whiskey/cocktail lovers this is a must see while visiting Kerry. 🥃🥃🥃 This is a great place for groups & couples to visit for a night out BUT.... keep in mind that during the height of the season it's extremely busy. Sultry atmosphere that might not be suitable for families with young children.
