Liam was a terrific host, guiding me through a wonderful flight of Irish Pot Still whisky and offering insights into some very good drams. The selection is unbelievable and we will be returning when back in Killearny in a couple of weeks. Go to this bar!

Walked right in and was served quickly but not rushed. The price per person includes at least 2 drinks per person. They have the largest selection of liquors I have ever seen. The waitresses were very polite, patient, and helpful. I enjoyed the wings with Guiness BBQ sauce. Yum!!

El servicio que recibimos de Selena fue excepcional. Yo tenía el salmón y el marido tenía los 3 deslizadores. Las botellas de alcohol que recubren la pared trasera era muy impresionante. Si bien no estaba en la carretera “principal”, todavía estaba en el centro de la ciudad. Recomendaría encarecidamente el restaurante/pub

Best loaded fries in Ireland and very good portion for a great price. Quality service, lovely decoration and enormous choice of whisky and even a gin bar !

La comida estaba seca, exagerada y no tan grande. Ok, entonces es un bar de whisky, esa es su mermelada. Pero nuestro hotel lo recomendó y fue bastante decepcionante.

The Candle Room

02/07/2025: The place has a regal charm, with elegantly styled rooms and spacious bathrooms. The staff are exceptionally kind and supportive, adding to the warm and cozy atmosphere. The location is also very convenient. At first, I was slightly annoyed by the requirement to hand over my room key at the reception every time I left. But upon reflection, I found it to be a thoughtful and personal touch. Being greeted by a staff member each time I returned, accompanied by a genuine smile, turned this small routine into a moment of connection that I came to truly appreciate.
01/07/2025: We have stayed at a number of hotels in Killarney and we would rank the Killarney Royal Hotel as our first choice. The staff, accommodations and food were just terrific!

09/06/2025: As noted in a previous review, don't be fooled by the storefront; even if you don't see anyone in the restaurant, there's a dining room in the back. Friendly welcome, impeccable service, excellent cuisine, and a calm atmosphere make it ideal for couples or families to chat and get along... Highly recommended.
