The best restaurants in Killarney

23/03/2024: Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Irish hospitality at its finest

21/03/2024: We are a younger couple here in Ireland for our honeymoon. We stopped into this restaurant tonight because we were walking around Killarney after the tour scheduled for today. We were looking for a quaint spot to grab a bite. We were VERY fortunate to stumble upon this lovely restaurant. Waitress was unbelievably kind and the owner was very welcoming! They treated us like family. The best food and dessert at best so far on our trip!

14/03/2024: Great coffee and bagels. Also lovely staff and a good vibe inside.

20/03/2024: Pizzas were great and the beers (no IPA's) were better! Super friendly staff and great service.

01/01/2024: Stayed in our campervan in a car park just up the road. Lovely atmosphere. Great combination for tasty pizza and lovely beers. Would recommend and will return again.

04/04/2024: This is probably one of the best hotels in which I have ever stayed. My daughter and I went for a two night stay. Customer service at front desk was incredible, especially from Norma and Amona at the front desk. I would definitely recommend staying there.

31/03/2024: The photos don’t do this place justice, this hotel is magical, from the amazing breakfast to the incredibly friendly staff, all the way to the cozy lobby rooms with fireplaces. It’s right in the heart of Killarney town making it an easy central location. Highly recommend staying here. Even though it rained every day, it was still our favorite stay!

04/04/2024: We were given this restaurant by a local vendor and made reservations at 8:30PM, actually about 2 hours later than we normally eat dinner. The food was fantastic, though the older lady who was our server was not friendly at all. I don’t know if she doesn’t like Americans of what her problem was? We are super friendly people and rather taken back on being treated the way we were. She made us wait an eternity for our check too, which was annoying. My wife asked about the tip and she said she has to put in before she runs the card, so my wife ended up tipping her 20%+ tip via cash. I hope she changes her tune and gives people from America better service and more friendly in the future.

30/03/2024: Had a great meal here. Did a walk-in on a busy Thursday night and they were able to accommodate us. Service was fast and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Sheppard’s pie - very good.

28/10/2023: Great food and beyond incredible service. The staff actually ran to a local store to get gluten-free pasta for my order. We went here multiple times during our stay and every time was a treat!

24/03/2024: Cool atmosphere, typically Italian pizza, with Italian ingredients. A substitute for Italy in Ireland. I highly recommend it, great pizzas.

21/03/2024: Delicious and reasonable prices! Service was quick for takeaway - roughly 15 minutes to get all of our food. Only about 30€ for 3 adults.

04/04/2024: It has taken sometime to gather my thoughts and write this review. I had heard the roast beef was pretty good so said i'd try it. I asked the waiter was it tender his reply was "well cooked" what came out on the plate was a horribly shocking grey coloured meat that I have never encountered in my life thankfully. I was really shocked with the sight of it honestly. I got the attention of the waiter to inform of my disgust. He took it away straight away and asked me to order something else which was fair enough.I had a look at the menu and decided I could'nt stomach something in this restaurant after the sight of roast beef!!! My only regret is i didn't get a photo. A bad day or not whoever decided this was acceptable for a customer is beyond me. Beyond dissapointed by this experience.....

04/04/2024: Nice atmosphere , beautiful decoration Had lunch there, two burgers and small coke Coke =3.6 euros , flat and no taste The burgers were well decorated but not tasty at all The fries were good The ketchup filled in small container had a strange taste It’s a good place to go if you care more about the location and decoration instead of food

04/03/2024: A lovely, comfortable place for a coffee in Killarney. It's open early (from 7am) and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nice selection of gorgeous Lir chocolate available to buy as well.

02/04/2024: Wonderful stay, very spacious rooms and well-kept facilities, with a very rich breakfast and a fantastic location. You couldn't ask for more but the service was also phenomenal, all the hotel employees were very friendly.

30/03/2024: We got this hotel with super sweet hospitality from “Aimee” she was super kind to us & gave us the best of room with bestest deal ever! This hotel is perfect as it is located in the heart of the city ♥️

03/04/2024: The best place that I ate in Ireland (so far). First of all, you may want to book a reservation, I didn't and had to wait 15 minutes in the bar I order to sit. In the bar the bartender was helpful and suggested to me a couple of local beers to match with my food (also I couldn't help noticing the adroit way he poured the drinks). The rest of the stuff wasn't as nice as he was. The place looks really awesome, similar to an American burger house style/booth full with interesting frames and decoratives, I could keep my eyes from the walls. The food came early and it was really really good. (there is a whole vegan section on the menu with a couple of options from starters to burgers and main courses). I ordered the porterhouse plant based burger with black beans and the soup of the day (which was cauliflower soup) both were super tasty and the portions were more than satisfactioning (although the country potatoes sides to the burger was extra spicy, not the best to me). Prices were fine and I really liked the experience. I strongly recommend this place.

05/04/2024: We stayed here for 2 nights on a CIE tour. The accommodations couldn't have been better. Our room was newly renovated. The bathroom is beautiful and bed is very comfortable.

03/04/2024: Attended a wedding in the great southern. Excellent service by the hotel. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and could not do enough for us on the day. They catered to my sons food allergies and I cannot fault the service. The food was beautiful and of a really high standard. Would definitely return again

26/03/2024: I entered because of outside , the view of the bottles make you want to enter , well I did it and I dont regret it at all , the staff , specially Emilia is verry kind, the choices are Incredible. Its a must to do in this city ! Totally love it !

02/04/2024: Fantastic food and chats. Half of the products are vegan, which is always an amazing find. We only had some of the sweet pastries. Very good size and reasonably priced as well.
