We ended up eating here twice. The first time we just got take out, because members of our crew were under the weather. We went back again to enjoy the atmosphere and some live music. The first time I got the Cottage Pie, which was excellent. The second time I had a burger, which was also very good. The place is fairly big inside, so the "quaint Irish pub" vibe gets lost in the size a bit, but the live music was good, and overall the ambiance is definitely pub"ish". Service was good, especially the first visit when our server made sure the take out (which clearly isn't their specialty) was good for us--for example she steered us away from soups because they didn't have good containers for them.

Here you'll find more of a cozy traditional pub-restaurant than a typical drinking pub. While the culinary quality has slipped a bit lately, this place is an absolute must-visit for dog owners. The highlight was a specially created dog menu. We were absolutely thrilled!
Dog owners definitely have to stop by here. Anyone else will find culinary alternatives in town that are a bit stronger, but you'll still be served solidly here at a fair price-to-performance ratio. For us, The Danny Mann is always a fixed stop during our time in Killarney.

We stayed in the Danny Mann (Eviston House Hotel) for a birthday occasion. From the time we arrived to us leaving after four days we had a fantastic experience. We were greeted at the front door and brought to the hotel car park by Peter who was more than helpful throughout our stay and also Jennifer who served us in the Bar and restaurant. The manager of the hotel also made our stay really special.
For great food at the right price, friendlyness, clean rooms, entertainment and a pet friendly hotel I would strongly recommend The Danny Mann.

This was the most exceptional pub I’ve ever visited for multiple reasons.
The cottage pie was divine, I’ve never tasted anything so incredible in my life.
Their flat white espresso martini was incredible too, I highly recommend it.
I was able to watch both the football game and incredibly talented live musicians at the same time, and it felt like I was in heaven.
I will be back and I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends

Good food, good atmosphere. Food was also served remarkably fast. (Food was quicker than the drinks) We could get in without a reservation and there was a nice Irish artist performing live. The repertoire was adjusted to whomever was most vocal about their origin, so the experience did seem more touristy than (what we'd expect to be) authentical Irish, but was good nonetheless.
