The best restaurants in Killarney

22/07/2026: The food is absolutely phenomenal, the spicy chicken was delicious. My favorite meal I’ve had in Ireland thus far. Service is quick. Highly recommend

22/07/2026: I have lived in Thailand for four years, and I have never tasted food like what I ate this evening in that country. Whilst the food was relatively tasty and I ate it, to call it Thai is misleading. My ka pow was swimming in sauce. It was more Chinese. It also came quite fast which leads me to believe its a reheat opposed to freshly cooked. Staff are nice.

22/07/2026: This was our celebratory meal after completing the Kerry Way. It was delicious!

19/07/2026: The steak was cooked well and fresh and the sea bass was delicious in a very tasty buttery sauce.

23/07/2026: Hit and miss. Had exceptional meals there but also some that aren't really worth the price. Breakfasts are generally great, especially during the week. Recent visit - not so great, a chicken burger with fries, for 23 euro. Killarney prices, I guess, but it was simply ONLY the burger and a small portion of fries, no little tiny Fleck of a side salad or at least a green leaf for decor, nothing.. The burger tasted excellent, but felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The place itself is spacious and cosy, but trying too hard to be über cool.. music too loud.. service is excellent, very friendly and efficient..

18/07/2026: Overall felt overrated. It was highly recommended to us, but the food options for brunch weren't that many, most were too heavy for us. Prices quite high for the small portion you're getting. Staff was very nice and the place looked posh, but we wouldn't return.

03/08/2026: Food are not so good unfortunately I don’t know this place got this many stars . I believe it’s because they are good at presenting. We tried fish and steak 🥩 i definitely not recommend steak .. totally disappointed. If you are gonna order desert order from desert menu only

15/05/2026: Perfect spot for exploring Kerry!!! Chilled out vibes! Cosy communal areas. Beautiful garden! Comfy bed and hot showers! Couldn’t ask for more! Fabulous vibes.

06/08/2026: Quite an expensive bakery. We ordered two chocolate croissants and a loaf of bread and it cost us 9.80 euros.

27/07/2026: Great findings in kerry. Good food and decent price. The soup was delicious. And I was delighted to find gluten free desserts.

04/07/2026: We (a group of four Americans on a golf trip) came in on a Saturday night when the home county Kerry football team was playing in the national quarterfinals of their annual championship. The place was absolutely PACKED with die hard Kerry fans. To a person, they could not have been nicer to us! They patiently explained the basics of the game and helped us understand strategy, etc. We left the bar (after an exciting Kerry victory!!) feeling that we had just made 30 new friends in this tiny bar! An experience we will never forget !!

09/05/2026: Wonderful staff, extremely helpful and friendly. That includes at reception, in the restaurant, at breakfast -- everyone. Beautiful, ornate ground floor with period decorations and objects to look at. Tasty dinner in the restaurant, and live music every night. But the room itself needed work. The heating was loud (it had an overhead unit with noisy vents), and one of the lights was broken. The shower was developing mold.

09/08/2026: Unfortunately my overall impression of the food was that it was average and quite forgetable. Nice restaurant, lovely staff. Ramen was just ok, with the egg way over cooked (as mentioned by other reviews), and the broth was more of a generic chicken stock - not very flavourful. The onigiri on the side was very bland, and mostly just rice, no filling. With the exception of sushi, the menu for me was too heavily influenced by Irish/Western food, and the feeling I got was the restaurant offered at best a "Japanese twist" or an "Irish Japanese Fusion" menu, which was no to my taste personally.

20/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Killarney Royal Townhouse. The location was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of town and conveniently located for exploring Killarney and many of the area’s top attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Both the breakfast and dinner were excellent, with delicious food and great service. We would highly recommend staying here and would gladly return on our next visit to Ireland!

17/06/2026: Fabulous hotel in a great location! Yana the receptionist was so helpful with all our questions. We even received a lovely gift of fresh scones when we left !

01/06/2026: What a beautiful tea house stands there in Killarney Park. Delicious tea with something sweet to go with it. What more could you want?
