A wonderful meal! Super friendly servers. Thank you. Definitely recommend this for a yummy meal. My husband and I were visiting from Canada and we really appreciated the warm hospitality.

We really enjoyed our evening in town and the live music was great! We did not eat only had drinks. The bartender introduced my husband to Murphys beer which is brewed in Cork. He really liked it!

Had lovely lamb shanks, turkey and ham and surf n turf burger. V quick service, nice food and reasonably priced. I'd eaten here years ago and am happy to report it's still quite good. A mix of locals and tourists eating.

Really comfy and welcoming place to eat. Great staff and great food. Nice spot to get some food with family; get a Guinness and some good food all while overlooking the city. Would highly recommend for any visitors!

We were more than happy that we picked the Failte to have our Sunday tea . All the town had been busy all afternoon so to get in somewhere with no problem was great. Very well staffed excellent food and drink. Would definitely recommend it. When other reviews mention the lamb shanks there are no words that can explain how good they are it's got to be tasted.

Went here for dinner and had a veggie burger with chips. Chips were hot and fresh and I liked the relish on the veggie burger, I appreciate that the burger had vegan cheese! Friendly staff and a nice drinks menu. I love the decor in the restaurant and bar. I only wish there were more vegetarian/vegan options!

My wife and I stumbled into this restaurant when one we were looking to go to next door was booked full for the evening. I’m glad it lead us here. We were greeted by a wonderful woman who I later found out had been here since 1960. The staff was friendly, and the food was great. The cider was also nice and cold. If you’re looking for a nice local spot, this is a great stop.

We had supper there after it was suggested by our tour Bus driver. He was correct in saying the food was great and the staff kind. I had a shank of lamb with a Guinness and it was extremely well cooked. Fall off the bones soft meat with a great taste. Recommend stopping by!

13/08/2026: Killarney Royal Townhouse was definitely the highlight of our trip. The service was outstanding, the room was incredible, and food was delicious. A personalized note and local treats were left for us when we arrived. We also received fresh scones at check out! These came in handy on a long train ride. The front desk staff was helpful at check in and with a small issue with the room window. For this very small inconvenience they offered us drinks in the restaurant another night. The turndown service with fresh water each night made us even more relaxed after long days exploring. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We enjoyed the made to order breakfast which was a nice treat after other hotels we stayed at. Also the location was perfect because you are walking distance to everything, but outside of all the activity. Everything was 5 star service! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
06/07/2026: Absolutely amazing hotel. Everyone was so helpful and couldn't do enough to accommodate your stay. Highly recommend and a true bit of Irish hospitality.

09/10/2026: We ended up eating here twice. The first time we just got take out, because members of our crew were under the weather. We went back again to enjoy the atmosphere and some live music. The first time I got the Cottage Pie, which was excellent. The second time I had a burger, which was also very good. The place is fairly big inside, so the "quaint Irish pub" vibe gets lost in the size a bit, but the live music was good, and overall the ambiance is definitely pub"ish". Service was good, especially the first visit when our server made sure the take out (which clearly isn't their specialty) was good for us--for example she steered us away from soups because they didn't have good containers for them.
05/10/2026: A lively pub with great food choices and delicious food, atmosphere and service. Conveniently located, a very short walking distance from our hotel, Brook Lodge Boutique Hotel, (5 minutes) and in the heart of the town of Killarney.
