The Porter House in Killarney

I don't even know where to begin.. I was over the moon to find a place with such innovative vegan options in a small place like killarney. Came there with no reservation, had to wait for only ~ 10 min. Staff was super lovely and attentive, the interior of the restaurant is very cozy. Now onto the food. I got the mushroom bruschetta and the vegan tacos. The starter blew my mind. The combination with the almond ricotta was insane and I very much appreciated the decent portion size (I was kind of expecting two small bread pieces with a little topping). So the price is absolutely justified. The main was also delicious, the crispy potatos baked to perfection. The only thing (but that might be personal preference) is that the main might be a bit small for some if ordered on its own bc its "just" two tacos. But that's cherry picking. Thanks for the great experience!

Outstanding in all manners. Get the filet on the stone. Cooks right there on your table.

Steak absolutely perfect. Staff friendly and professional, happily managed all our requests. They really tried to make Italian espresso but unfortunately, that's the only thing I strongly discourage you to order 😁

Staff was incredibly nice and kind. But the food was okay, nothing special. Very expensive but it is in a popular area. My aunt loved the fish, my son loved the burger, but the chicken sandwhich was very dry and flavorless...my othed son & i had trouble eating it.

I visited here with 6 other friends on a Saturday evening and I honestly cannot recommend enough. We had an array of different foods. Each better than the next! We had plenty of cocktails and all absolutely stunning. The service was second to none, such friendly waiters and even ordering cocktails which can be time consuming in a lot of places but here there was absolutely no delay. We all loved our evening here and I will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks to all the staff for a fabulous meal and excellent service.

This restaurant was really nice and a pleasant change from the loud pubs nearby. Our greeting was warm and professional, and we were seated immediately.. both my husband and I enjoyed steak for dinner. The taste of the steak as well as a char grilled flavor was outstanding. The host could not have been nicer.. She offered me a taste of the Irish stew before ordering it as I told her I was not a big fan of lamb generally. The Guinness was perfect, as was the Dingle gin and tonic, which I enjoyed.
