A lovely, comfortable place for a coffee in Killarney. It's open early (from 7am) and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nice selection of gorgeous Lir chocolate available to buy as well.

In December we were numb after the Sleigh Ride so we looked for a place to have a drink and lunch. We were turned away at many restaurants, but here we were received and served with so much love!! It was heartwarming!
Delicious chai latte, ice coffee and large cup of tea, tasty sandwich, it was all great!
We thank you again for the warm welcome and will definitely return when we are in Killarney.

Popped in yesterday for coffee, and what a lovely cafe this place is. Was served by a super friendly girl who explained the recycling coffee cup and the reason behind it. Well done kilarney. Coffee was fab and so was my scone. You just can't beat going into a place where you are made feel welcome

I spent a week in Ireland and was searching for the perfect place to celebrate my 40th birthday. I emailed Lir Cafe to ask if they served any vegan cakes and the owner, Alan, promptly replied with the options. He set aside my choice and greeted me on my birthday! Not only were the cakes and coffees delicious (yes, I had multiple), but the place was cute and had impeccable service.

I like this wee café. It's a nice mixture of locals and visitors. Coffee is good and there's a nice selection of treats too. The recently upgraded mini plaza out front offers additional seating. Toasted sandwiches also on offer. The staff are lovely and it's dog friendly too.

Our kids were up too early for breakfast at the hotel so we went for a sunrise walk to downtown to try to get some coffee. This was such a lovely cafe with a great atmosphere! Staff were wonderful, the scones and drinks were delicious. My 3 year old kept asking for chocolate milk and when the man making drinks heard me tell him I think they only have hot chocolate he blended up some milk and chocolate for my son to have a delicious homemade chocolate milk. Great experience and we’d definitely go again!
