Jack C's Bar in Killarney

We (a group of four Americans on a golf trip) came in on a Saturday night when the home county Kerry football team was playing in the national quarterfinals of their annual championship. The place was absolutely PACKED with die hard Kerry fans. To a person, they could not have been nicer to us! They patiently explained the basics of the game and helped us understand strategy, etc. We left the bar (after an exciting Kerry victory!!) feeling that we had just made 30 new friends in this tiny bar! An experience we will never forget !!

Epic pub w cracking pints, proper local spot

This is by far the best pint of Guinness in Killarney. You could not ask for a better pub than Jack C's. From the multi-generation owner/bartender to the local crowd that frequent it, you're in luck if you can find a spot at the bar to chat with the crowd before a trad session breaks out.

Very nice Bar. Friendly and highly knowledgeable staff. And an excellent pint of stout. Was sad I had to leave! 10/10 would go again
