Nothing different from 1,000 other similar places: average food, service could be improved, so-so atmosphere. The front section is old, beautiful, and quaint; we ended up in the back, evidently a newer section, a large restaurant.

Potato cakes are delicious! The fried brie bites were perfectly fried, melty inside without any extra grease. The bar tender Dennis was a delight. And the banoffee pie was a treat!

Unfortunately, we didn't eat here; everything was beautifully presented and smelled wonderful. However, we have eaten elsewhere. There's a huge selection of beer and other drinks. The music was at a pleasant volume.

Had breakfast at 40Main. It was busy but still good service. Very nice food, their orange juice is what you call fresh orange juice....had to order a second one as a take away. Loved it👌🏽

Very much enjoyed my meal here tonight. Great service and excellent food. The potato cakes were delicious and the Irish Stew flavoursome and the best I have ever had. Highly recommend.

04/07/2026: Abbey served us last night. She was super attentive to my 5 year old - it made her night extra special.
18/06/2026: We had an amazing experience at the Garden Bar & Terrace. The space has many upscale details while also being very inviting and cozy. Our server Dominic was outstanding. He was friendly, personable and extremely knowledgeable on both the beverage and food menus. He guided us on recommendations while also being very accommodating to any requests. As there were five of us dining, we were able to order multiple items from the menu. We were delighted with our choices all of the way through dessert. Thank you for turning a meal into a memorable experience.

17/05/2026: The best mussels I’ve ever had … didn’t know that mussels can be soooo tasty & omg … the duck was amazing ! The skin was crispy & the meat was full of flavor ! And of course the steak … perfectly done … probably the best meal in all of Ireland ❤️💚
05/05/2026: We had a very nice meal here. The food was wonderful, and the staff was accommodating, even though we showed up on a Saturday night with no reservation during the rally of the lakes. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a nice dinner, but probably not the place to go if you're out for drinks, it was definitely a nicer atmosphere
