The Laurels in Killarney

Friendly and efficient service. The kitchen opens at 5 p.m. We had fish soup served with bread and butter, lamb shank, burger and potatoes, chicken stuffed with bacon, and cheesecake. Generous portions and everything was delicious! The best dinner we've had in Ireland so far. I recommend booking.

The Nachos were good. The Lamb Stew was awful. Basically water with under cooked potatoes and veg. The fish and chips was passable.

Another pub with great food. This one specializes in sandwiches and burgers, but everything we tried was great. My advice - add more salad, that small salad bowl is really too small.

Cute nook to grab the local cream ale [Killkenny's] and munch on Irish classics.

Beamish, Murphy’s, Kilkenny, Smithwicks, and Guinness (as well as many more) on tap. What more can you want? Best line-up I’ve seen since Glastonbury 2007. Food was not exceptional, but definitely good, absolutely more than solid pub grub quality standard.

Gluten free pizza! And it's really good too. Not many places open for lunch that do GF pizza. It's a stylish and modern looking place but that does a good selection of lunch fare. Nice coffee, good service and it was cool and shady on verrrrry hot day. The pub part is much bigger than it looks from the outside but still manages to feel cozy
