04/05/2026: Hearty, traditional fare. Great service and atmosphere.

30/04/2026: Lovely set-up with each table in an alcove on its own or 1 other table so nice atmosphere and easy to hold conversation. Service was a bit slow because they were sooo busy. Starters.. scallops and the chicken wings were lovely. Mains weren't as good (ribs and lamp shanks) ribs a bit tough, lamb shank could have had more flavor in the gravy. Desert..bread and butter pudding really stogy and not nice. Would I return? Probably not...

06/01/2026: Chicken here, always makes me really sick!!.. The chicken is definitely not chicken!!!! I've never been so sick!!!!

03/01/2026: It was perfect and we were a group of 6. The staff was lovely and attentive, answering any question we had and making good suggestions (get the garlic potatoes). The ramen was delicious and so was the Tofu Katsu Curry. It was a great experience, will go again and would recommend.

25/09/2025: Great bar with traditional music. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lots of places to sit. A high variety of drinks from Ireland as well. Highly recommended to visit!

11/04/2026: This was probably my favorite place to stay in Ireland. Mary was a delight upon arrival. We were the first guests of the season and she made it feel like they opened the doors just for us! The entire staff was amazing. The food was outstanding and the recommendations for dinner on the town, top notch. We ended up staying another night. Beautiful room in an elegant building. 10/10

26/10/2025: Very much recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Killarney. The rooms are nice, clean, and cozy. The toiletries were replaced daily. There's a decent variety for breakfast available and plenty of food provided. Location was great and walking distance to the bus/ train stations and the restaurants and shops in town. It's also easy to get to meeting points if you're taking a tour. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly and helpful. I lost something here and they were able to ship it back to me internationally.

13/12/2025: Great atmosphere, but noisy. Most of the seating is on high stools. Excellent service. Limited range with the menu.

08/12/2025: We really enjoyed our meal. The Sunday menu differs fro. The rest of the week, it was a selection of roasted meats and veggies served family style. Everything was delicious. 😋😋

19/04/2026: The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the portions were generous.

17/04/2026: We came to this restaurant with six adults and two children. We were not given a table for that number of people, although there is a dining room where we could have found a seat. When we asked to sit together, we were rudely refused. One of the waiters was very aggressive. We had a child with special needs with us, who was very stressed. When we tried to explain that this is not how to speak to customers, we were told to leave. We were shocked and do not recommend this establishment due to the rude attitude towards guests.

30/11/2025: Visited while camping in Killarney. To echo many of the other statements, the fish is awesome - I’m not usually a big pickerel fan and it was amazing. Chips are mid, the service was a little on the unfriendlier side, and the price of food was quite high for what you get; however, the view of the water is nice and it’s probably your best option for dining in the area.

20/12/2025: Myself & a friend stayed there 18/12/2025.. We were there to see an audience with Steven Gerrard..Had a meal first, the staff were great, very helpful & friendly.. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location..

13/12/2025: I had a wonderful time at the Gleneagle. The staff are friendly, the venue is well organised, and the entertainment is world class. The sausages were delicious.

19/02/2026: Everything was delicious, the food was fresh and very well prepared, and the service was excellent.

05/01/2026: As a local, this is my favourite coffee. No mocha in all of Ireland compares for me. The staff are always so friendly, they know my order when I arrive and always so nice to my dog who is addicted to their treats.

14/09/2025: Such a handy little drive thru especially in the rain. Coffee was so tasty and possibly one of the nicest chocolate croissants I've ever had.

28/10/2025: Bad service expensive food never coming back that’s for sure

26/10/2025: Ordered the piri piri chicken burger described as chicken breast in panko breadcrumbs, sounded delicious and I stupidly presumed it was home made from the elaborate description, it was not, it was basically a highly processed birds eye style chicken burger in batter, dry bun with a scraping of tasteless, what I presume was piri piri and a leaf of lettuce, that was it, there were plenty cheapest of the cheap frozen chips and some weird tomato and onion salad, €19.00, absolute rip off, was basically cheap chipper food done badly. If I go to a restaurant I expect something I can't make from the freezer at home, would not recommend. My friend did have the stir fry which she said was nice hense the 2 stars.

26/02/2026: Lovely hotel, nice rooms and central location with parking

21/02/2026: Staff great, location great, breakfast delicious. Room clean but very dated...needs updating...shower wasn't very productive and fan did not work.

13/05/2026: Visited for dinner only, but we were met with a warm welcome. Dinner was delicious (crocker burgers) and the live singer/guitarist was perfect entertainment. A very pleasant evening at a very reasonable price.

11/05/2026: We only ate here. Everyone really enjoyed the food and the service was very friendly.

09/05/2026: Good place to go if someone in your party can't eat gluten. The menu was very well labeled, and all the condiments are gluten-free. I also nerded out reading all the captions for the old photographs on the walls.
