12/01/2025: Gran be&be, Nos alojamos aquí anoche y no puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. A pesar de que llegué mucho antes de la hora de registro en un sábado, el camarero fue capaz de conseguirme una habitación sin ningún tipo de alboroto. La habitación era amplia, limpia y bien mantenida. La presión del agua en la ducha no era tan alta como quería, pero aún así suficiente para disfrutar. La ubicación es muy céntrica sobre un pub local popular. Un lugar ideal para viajeros individuales y grupos que buscan un lugar para alojarse sin ningún problema. Todo el personal que encontré fue amable y servicial. El ambiente era como alojarse en una casa familiar en lugar de un hotel y lugares como este son muy raros ahora.

30/12/2024: La comida era terrible, tenía bruschetta que era tan aceitosa que casi me enfermo. Mi marido tenía surf y césped que ni siquiera era sabroso para el precio que tiene. El servicio en sí apenas está allí. Muy decepcionante.

02/12/2024: The Trunk offers something special that draws you in to order a pizza. The atmosphere, thoughtfully crafted by the owner, is warm and inviting. They’re always ready with excellent recommendations if you need guidance. The preparation is quick, but the final product will make your mouth water. Made with fresh ingredients, served piping hot, and bursting with flavor, the pizzas are simply irresistible. To top it off, the sauces accompanying each slice are equally delicious. You won’t regret dining here!

13/08/2024: Delicious pizza with vegetables. On request there is also vegan pizza or you can add or omit ingredients. The owner is happy to have a chat with you.

11/03/2025: I eat at a lot of restaurants each year and the cuisine and service in Ireland are truly exceptional. I ordered a fish and chips, as they ran out of three dishes on the menu, and we paid almost €22 for basically only chips on a plate, as the fish portion was so small that it could have been a started portion. The patrons that received exactly the same dish that sat next to us received a fish portion at least 3 to 4 times the size. I truly do not appreciate it being gouged price wise as the waiter should have realised the desceptancy and should have remedied the situation before placing the meal in front of a patron that visit a new restaurant almost every day. On the other hand, the scallops were amazing as a starter portion and the calamari main course was excellent, both portion- and price wise.

12/03/2025: amazing service, shana especially was super helpful she had really good recommendations for food and cocktails such as the passion fusion. 5/5 can’t wait to be back!

10/03/2025: After pleasant evening in Killarney our friends advised us to visit CafeDuPark in Plaza hotel. As a final destination for drinks it was the best idea. Charming atmosphere, We were surprised of Sarah’s service and Muay-Thai cocktails made by Denis. Thanks lads ;) We will remember this evening for a long time.

25/03/2025: Nice enough place and OK prices however the food was bad. Pizza overloaded with cheese like a cheap takeaway one, with lots of burnt crust whilst base was soggy from amount of cheese. Not traditional or what you’d expect from a restaurant at all

14/02/2025: This is the only 4.8 rated star place I've been that DESERVES a 5.0 What an experience. Pints were clean and lovely but man the purple were event better. If this was my local I'd ask for stock options. Incredible

18/03/2025: My family and I stayed in The Gleneagle on Patrick’s weekend for a family occasion. Overall the whole experience was lovely. However, we had dinner in Fiadh on Saturday night and my Dad regrettably found a small piece of glass in his water, thankfully before he consumed it. I immediately informed a supervisor but she didn’t even come over to the table to apologise, only told a more senior restaurant manager who didn’t come over immediately either. I decided to go up for a second time to speak with someone as we all, understandably, felt a little uneasy about the situation and were awaiting more food. That, and I was surprised no one had come over still to address the table. I ended up speaking with the manager and he was apologetic but that was about it. At the end of our meal the same manager finally came over and offered to comp a bottle of wine and two meals, which was appreciated. However, my Dad’s meal wasn’t the one comped, nor did the manager even address him or ask anything further about the situation. The communication overall, given that we found glass in our meal, was far below what I expected of a four star hotel and left us all rather disappointed, as we all don’t get together too often. The rest of our experience was really great. However I’d be remiss not to mention this story to anyone thinking of staying here as the service and communication regarding the whole situation was simply that poor.

20/02/2025: Had such a wonderful experience here last night. Walked in to a brilliant looking restaurant straight off the bat, great atmosphere and buzz for a rainy Wednesday night. The decor and cleanliness off the restaurant was perfect. We were greeted instantly and shown to our table. The service was brilliant, the wait staff were very good at their jobs and very attentive. The menu had excellent choice and everything you'd want from a Thai restaurant. The food came nice and quick but was the perfect temperature and nice and fresh. One of the best curries I've had in Ireland, really enjoyed it. The prices were great too, fantastic value. Thank you Genting for a great meal and service, will 100% be back.

11/02/2025: The blue ceiling lights and plants are stunning to look at, with such a calm atmosphere to enjoy food in. I love the delicious mix of spice AND taste together, rather than having to pick one or the other in a different restaurant. Also, this place has sparked a love of cashews in me that I didn't know I had Lovely staff also, pretty funny and happy which add to the nice environment!

09/03/2025: Very delicious food with a wide range of options. Very accommodating and friendly staff. In terms of ambiance it's a little subdued but still lovely. Would be nice if the lights were dimmed slightly/ not as bright. That's nitpicking though, I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu the next time we're in Killarney.

21/02/2025: Gorgeous tastes, from the start Rye bread with smoked whisked butter, through to the creme brulee! someone in that kitchen knows how to cook. Decor beautiful. Good wine. Would have preferred more veg with my dinner, felt it a bit potato heavy, but regardless a lovely dining experience.

18/02/2025: Excellent friendly bar staff, spent 2 evenings here with my partner and I cannot commend the 2 ladies bar staff that served us the last 2 nights, we will definitely be back again, 16th and 17th February 2025

17/03/2025: I am visiting from the states. I had an amazing experience and I wanted to share. The staff was incredible and the lamb shank was Devine. The meat was so tender and literally fell off the bone. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. 10/10 will be returning while we are in Killarney.

12/03/2025: Food was unbelievable and after accidentally leaving my retainer in the napkin🤦‍♂️staff took the time to search through rubbish and return it to me and were very polite. Would highly recommend.

03/02/2025: Almorzamos el domingo aquí el 2 de febrero y la comida estaba bien. Conseguí la pasta cremosa de pollo y setas y salió fría y mi amigo consiguió el pollo al curry y también estaba fría como piedra y cuando dijimos que entonces estaba fría, las volvieron a tomar y se desgastaron 5 minutos y regresaron entubadas calientes. Definitivamente se usaron microondas y el curry era casi intocable durante unos 5 minutos y fue horrible. Mis otros 2 amigos consiguieron pastel de pastores y las patatas fritas llevaban pastel frío. Estaba bien y uno pidió verduras a un lado y no lo recibió hasta 20 minutos después de que todos habíamos terminado de comer, así que dijimos que no. Es demasiado tarde. Ahora. 2 postres ordeñados. Uno pidió lácteos libres y se sirvió. Pastel de queso sin lácteos con crema láctea en el plato. No tenía sentido y los precios de la comida subieron.
