19/10/2024: Received a surprise package from someone as a present of O'Carrolls delicious treats. What can I say only....WOW!! Their chunky treats with layers of cookies,brownies, caramel sauce and chocolate toppings are just amazing. No words. Absolute perfection with a cup of tea. Will definitely be purchasing from this company in the future again ☺️
11/10/2024: Ordered a Birthday cake from O Carrolls as we were staying in Killarney. Very easy and pleasant to deal with. CAKE delivered to the hotel on the day and it was beautiful.

We were there on a Wednesday evening at around 8 p.m. and just managed to find space for five people. It was well attended and it wasn't just tourists.

06/08/2024: Had a lovely stay here while on a work trip. The hotel itself is located just a short walk from the town it’s self the rooms are spotless and offers a lovely bar on the hotel grounds.
29/07/2024: Excellent Hotel to a very high standard. Dropped in for lunch on the way from Tralee. However the service was poor. Alot of staff but very disorganised.

The Black Sheep Hostel & Coffee Shack

21/10/2024: Would highly recommend The Black Sheep if you are looking for a hostel in the Killarney area. It is conveniently located near the city center and national park, has comfortable and private beds, nice staff, well equipped kitchen, and tasty breakfast. We did not try the coffee shop but heard it was great as well. There are also chickens and dogs (chickens friendlier than the dogs.)
20/10/2024: Hands down the best hostel in killarney anytime I go to killarney I try to get this hostel because its near the town near the national park and it's quiet,clean and free breakfast too!

28/10/2024: Was in on vacation from Chicago and decided to head to Mizu. It was so delicious and the raman portions were great! Got the Vegan Tempura Mushroom Eggplant app and I am still daydreaming about it days later. Service was also great even on a super busy bank Holiday weekend. Can't recommend this place enough.
24/10/2024: Amazing food! particularly the trio of prawns starter. Very friendly and welcoming staff. A very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Will be back!8

Salat for €13 very low quality with old hard bacon and for discussing coke which cost €4 ???
I would never recommend this place to anybody.
Avoid this place if you are hungry cause you will leave the place angry.

16/11/2024: Staff were attentive and welcoming, food was delicious! We all got lattes with our breakfast. Every meal was fresh and tasty. The potatoes were so good! If they had someone outside offering potatoes samples they would convince everyone to eat here in a second!
15/11/2024: Lovely coffee shop down a hidden away street in Killarney. They seem to love cats as lots of cat motifs all over the place, yet I didn't see any cats around the place.

We arrived and the restaurant smelt delicious. Our waiter, Mike, allowed us to try both of the wines we were deciding between.
He recommended delicious meals, and we loved the sea bass and hake.
Excellent restaurant to visit in Killarney. Should not miss it!

Iguanas cafe

04/03/2024: I have visited here on the way to national park. I had a tea and cookie. The staffs are very friendly. The view of the mountain and the golf ground from inside the cafe is stunning 🤩🔥 they have enough items on reasonable price.
05/02/2024: I have been to the Iguanas cafe before going on a route to the National Park. I had a coffee and a scone, which were great and the staff were very friendly.
Nice views of the golf course.

The Tan Yard

04/11/2024: The Tan Yard served an amazing Tomahawk steak. The starters, especially the scallops, were delicious. As a joke, I ordered bubble gum ice cream for dessert, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The service was not great, though. They forgot my beer order and also didn't check on us, even though our glasses were empty at one point and our plates were all cleaned off. We sat around for a long time waiting for wait staff to walk by.
