25/01/2026: Very warm friendly welcome, however the service was far short of a 5 star establishment. Waited 20mins before our starter plate was cleared. My husbands empty drink glass remained on the table throughout the course of our meal. Never asked if we would like another drink. Food good but service let the whole night down.

04/12/2025: An Exceptional Stay, Made Perfect by Outstanding Service I had the pleasure of staying at The Brehon Hotel & Spa on Monday, 1st December 2025, and the experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. The standout element was undoubtedly the incredible service. A huge thank you to Bojana, whose support was truly above and beyond. From assisting seamlessly with my check in to ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect, her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made a significant difference. It’s staff like Bojana who transform a great hotel into an exceptional one. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the spa facilities are in a league of their own. Without a doubt, this is the best SPA facility I have ever experienced. Every aspect was pristine, calming, and of the highest quality, providing the perfect retreat. My stay was an absolute delight, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated. I cannot recommend The Brehon Hotel & Spa highly enough and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience.

03/12/2025: All the staff were friendly. The rooms are comfortable. The food and drinks at the bar were amazing.

31/01/2026: We looked at the reviews and decided we would have dinner here. What a mistake! The staff were lovely as was the place itself but the food is terrible and vastly overpriced!! My husband had fish and chips .. they were mediocre at best. Small portions and cold peas for an outrageous €24.90. I ordered the Brie and bacon burger and at €23.50 I would have expected the most delicious burger I have ever had but instead I received something that I would expect from a funfair or a very old 1980s burger van! It was of very poor quality and thrown together in an untoasted bun that was far too big for its filling… a small cup of skinny fries accompanied it …disgraceful! And to add insult to injury I was charged €12 for a glass of wine!! We live in Dublin and wouldn’t be charged prices like this …RIP OFF IRELAND!!

03/12/2025: Lovely location and accommodating staff. Booked the suite and the whole hotel was decorated in the spirit of Christmas which was lovely. Just one minor suggestion: Consider partnering with local artists for artwork to be added to rooms and potentially it being able to be research via qr code and purchased.

02/12/2025: Room was very comfortable, the perfect size with plenty of space, but not too big. Excellent bathroom. Service at the hotel were excellent. All staff were outstanding, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, poached egg and avocado was delicious, eggs perfectly cooked. Having access to the swimming pool at the Great Southern was a great bonus and it is only across the road from the townhouse.

06/01/2026: Chicken here, always makes me really sick!!.. The chicken is definitely not chicken!!!! I've never been so sick!!!!

03/01/2026: It was perfect and we were a group of 6. The staff was lovely and attentive, answering any question we had and making good suggestions (get the garlic potatoes). The ramen was delicious and so was the Tofu Katsu Curry. It was a great experience, will go again and would recommend.

26/10/2025: Very much recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Killarney. The rooms are nice, clean, and cozy. The toiletries were replaced daily. There's a decent variety for breakfast available and plenty of food provided. Location was great and walking distance to the bus/ train stations and the restaurants and shops in town. It's also easy to get to meeting points if you're taking a tour. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly and helpful. I lost something here and they were able to ship it back to me internationally.

23/09/2025: Best Night of sleep I've had in weeks. Beds are so comfortable. Best shower I've had in weeks. And such nice service all around. Everyone is so friendly. Definitely recommend.

20/12/2025: Tops. I ordered from the vegan menu and got rice noodles with egg in it, so watch it, as items may not be bundled and "vegan" get lost in translation.

24/12/2025: We were a group of 8 family members, and we ordered both the main course and desserts. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this place, and if we plan any lunch or dinner in the future, this will definitely be our go-to spot.

24/12/2025: Went here with a large group after a funeral. We were given a set menu option . Food was amazing and very tasty ! Also staff very very friendly. Amazing place over all

26/10/2025: Ordered the piri piri chicken burger described as chicken breast in panko breadcrumbs, sounded delicious and I stupidly presumed it was home made from the elaborate description, it was not, it was basically a highly processed birds eye style chicken burger in batter, dry bun with a scraping of tasteless, what I presume was piri piri and a leaf of lettuce, that was it, there were plenty cheapest of the cheap frozen chips and some weird tomato and onion salad, €19.00, absolute rip off, was basically cheap chipper food done badly. If I go to a restaurant I expect something I can't make from the freezer at home, would not recommend. My friend did have the stir fry which she said was nice hense the 2 stars.

15/12/2025: Staff nice food was nice had breakfast U get no pudding or hash browns with it tea toast and anything U don't eat U ask for extra you have to pay for it which is a bit unfair but it's reasonable price it's a small compact place

20/12/2025: Myself & a friend stayed there 18/12/2025.. We were there to see an audience with Steven Gerrard..Had a meal first, the staff were great, very helpful & friendly.. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location..

13/12/2025: I had a wonderful time at the Gleneagle. The staff are friendly, the venue is well organised, and the entertainment is world class. The sausages were delicious.

30/11/2025: Visited while camping in Killarney. To echo many of the other statements, the fish is awesome - I’m not usually a big pickerel fan and it was amazing. Chips are mid, the service was a little on the unfriendlier side, and the price of food was quite high for what you get; however, the view of the water is nice and it’s probably your best option for dining in the area.

04/11/2025: What a great little spot! Great food, great service, great view. The fish n chips were hot and delicious with a side of tangy coleslaw. Staff were friendly & helpful. There was a well-stocked table of condiments for your meal. Plenty of seating, great little atmosphere, with a spectacular view.

22/09/2025: Amazing food and really reasonable prices. While the savory food is (for my taste) a bit greasy, the sweet dessert are just amazing!
