Mizu Modern Japanese Cuisine in Killarney

Unfortunately my overall impression of the food was that it was average and quite forgetable. Nice restaurant, lovely staff. Ramen was just ok, with the egg way over cooked (as mentioned by other reviews), and the broth was more of a generic chicken stock - not very flavourful. The onigiri on the side was very bland, and mostly just rice, no filling. With the exception of sushi, the menu for me was too heavily influenced by Irish/Western food, and the feeling I got was the restaurant offered at best a "Japanese twist" or an "Irish Japanese Fusion" menu, which was no to my taste personally.

This is the third time my partner and I have eaten here. The food is always brilliant, very tasty with large portions. The staff are attentive and very efficient. The decor is lovely.

Very good. Room with a central common area. New York atmosphere. A bit noisy, but that's the result of its success.

I was not expecting to have such good sushi in Ireland of all places, but I was pleasantly surprised. Every course was plated and presented as food art. The flavors all worked together so nicely. My favorite was the smoked salmon sashimi.

Great food and great service. I am vegan and they had a full vegan experience! The menu was a total surprise and delicious. The staff are very welcoming and attentive coming around to ensure you are having the best time! We loved it.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Great vibes. The food was unbelievablely good! Fresh fish. Irish twists to Japanese cuisine. Family run and you can feel how proud they are of their restaurant. If I could give this review more stars I would.
