An absolute hidden gem in Killarney! 🌟Mizu absolutely blew us away. The decor is tasteful and creates a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere right away.We opted for the warm dishes (no sushi), and the food was simply fantastic! You can immediately taste that everything is prepared with super fresh ingredients. On top of that, the staff was attentive and very friendly throughout the entire evening. The absolute icing on the cake was the wonderful, witty, and charming Irishman sitting right next to us. We had brilliant conversations —he shared our deep appreciation for the great food and made our evening truly unforgettable.A flawless evening with excellent food and genuine Irish warmth. We will definitely be back!

I have been to Japan 3 times, but I have to say tonight was the best Japanese meal I have ever eaten. Amazing Tofu Katsu. Also we had the burned tofu which was incredible. Well done guys....should be Michellin starred!!

Eating Japanese food in Ireland may seem crazy, but if you choose Mizu, you can be sure you're getting quality. The only downside? The prices are too high and the bill is steep.
🏠 LOCATION | The restaurant, both in its details and "scenography," is reminiscent of classic Japanese restaurants. I admit, it seemed less fake than those we see in Italy. Some details were meticulously crafted, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
🚶♂️ STAFF | The staff, like everyone else we've encountered in Ireland, aren't exactly smiling, but remain focused on their work the entire time. It must be said, however, that they were objectively quick to serve us and help us choose what to order.
👨🍳 CUISINE | I like Japanese cuisine, and Mizu offers a variety of high-quality specialties. Aside from the multi-course packages, they have an extensive menu, and everything looks truly delicious.
💶 BILL | Now, this is a bit of a bummer, because while prices in Ireland are high, we're a bit over the top here considering what you eat. Getting under €100 for two is difficult, and certainly not justified by what you get.

Was really taken aback by the gratuity request at the end of the meal since that hasn't been the usual practice in Ireland. Food was subpar and pricey-more rice than fish on the nigiri and the ramen was not ramen-spaghetti noodles and chicken broth and not chasu pork but grilled pork with BBQ sauce on it. Tourist from NYC, I should have stuck with pub food.

This restaurant used to be very good but on our most recent visit the ramen noodles had deteriorated to the point that I wouldn’t order them again. Disappointing.

Excellent Japanese restaurant. The dragon maki was superb; it's a shame the ones advertised as crab were actually made with surimi, but they were still excellent. The beef udon noodles with miso broth were delicious.
