This was probably my favorite part of the trip. This amazing little pub is so friendly and family oriented and great live music. Out of every pub that we stopped in from dublin to galway, this was my favorite by far.

Incredible, huge, warm pub. Live folk music up front segued to a larger, louder band in back, followed by an excellent dj playing dance tunes for the dance floor ok the back. Going back tonight. 🍻

Only there for the music and drinks both are great. Tradional music up front whey are done Band on the Backstage. When they finish The Disco open in a room in the back. At some point there is a 10 Euro cover charge.

The Lakeside Bistro

04/06/2026: We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and tried the restaurant the first night and decided to eat there every night thereafter. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts were exceptional! The staff was very busy and one night they seemed short-handed but were always pleasant.
02/06/2026: Great meal in a wonderful location, overlooking the lake and mountains. Staff were extremely attentive, the food was lovely and very good value for money. Recommended.

13/12/2025: Great atmosphere, but noisy. Most of the seating is on high stools. Excellent service. Limited range with the menu.
08/12/2025: We really enjoyed our meal. The Sunday menu differs fro. The rest of the week, it was a selection of roasted meats and veggies served family style. Everything was delicious. 😋😋
