The best restaurants in Killarney

08/05/2025: Booked a night at his hotel for 161 which said breakfast included. Got there only to be told by the reciptionist(who mentioned it before me) that breakfast wasn't included an it was typo. Terrible price for a hotel on the outskirts of the town an horrendous for a hotel to backtrack on they're word. Stay away at all costs

10/04/2025: So we tasted the tuna and chicken sandwich and were very disappointed. Both were mediocre with really nothing special about it. Also they are tiny but are quite expensive for 7,5 each. Will never come back here again.

15/02/2025: Well done to the baker. One of the closest to French patisserie and boulangerie in Ireland! Super tasty pastries and bread, you won’t find anything like that in any other bakery in Killarney

21/05/2025: Nice looking hotel but no air conditioning makes it hot as hell in May. No hotel should be rated 4 stars without AC. All other hotels we have stayed at on this trip had AC.

20/05/2025: went for dinner, no one met our group at the 'wait to be seated' went into the bar, by the restaurant, no acknowledgement by staff...went elsewhere, shocking customer service, staff need training. My group included three customer service managers from the hospitality industry, if i was a mystery shopper, they would have been sacked.

28/03/2025: Lovely lovely food. Everything is fried, but prepared well. The black ink squid risotto is divine. We had great service, but the food is the best on our trip so far. Highly recommend!

19/03/2025: Have visited The Mad Monk many times, always an excellent experience and this time did not disappoint….beautiful food, great service. Full marks to Teresa, Zach and all the staff.

26/04/2025: Not coming back here and would never recommend to anybody unless I wanted people to think I was crazy or something. Rude staff and unsanitary, place smells weird, floor is very dirty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time, found hair and a nail on the floor next to the table, no one is wearing hair nets while preparing food and their hair hangs above the food + almost touches food while preparing. They will scam you, we ordered two chocolate cakes and they pick up one small slice of cake and cut it in parts and charge full price the other pre-cut slices sit there. Also the chocolate cake tasted like it was sitting out for days and tasted like moldy plastic in an old house, my brother felt sick after eating it. Don't forget to mix your coffee yourself when served because they seem to not know how to mix a coffee. While we were eating, there were other customers waiting to order and the staff completely ignored them, also the staff are extremely slow when you are ordering. Definitely not coming back here ever. Also quality and taste of food is definitely not worth the price.

13/05/2025: Extremely lovely hotel! Super close to the center of town (walking distance) but far enough away to be quiet. The only drawback is that there is no A/C in the rooms, so it can get a little warm at night. Other than that, a wonderful 2 night stay here!!

15/03/2025: A luxury hotel missing some luxury. Like hot water. After a day of hiking 10 miles thru the Gap of Dunloe, my wife and I were looking forward to a hot bath/shower. Bath water was a dark yellow and luke warm at best. The shower the next morning went from luke warm to cold. Stopped by the front desk to make mention of it. I overheard maintenance tell the supervisor "I don't know what they're complaining about, this is the temp". The supervisor then proceeded to tell me that this is the temp and it's hot. Uhmm, not it's not. I don't appreciate the gaslighting. Front desk people were delightful, if not for them this hotel would get a 1 star. We checked out and are staying at the Cahernane up the road where they have hot water that is actually adjustable.

23/02/2025: I went in and placed order it was dull felt unfriendly and the food was tasteless I ordered a snack box I think they call it that and a sauce the box of food was like eating cardboard it was absolutely tasteless and not a bit of seasoning at all the sauce I got was like eating a bag of salt that was hot my other order was the beef chow mein no taste season less . I would definitely not recommend

27/04/2025: Situado en el centro de killarney. Parece cualquier otro pub / restaurante desde el exterior, pero es el interior lo que lo distingue. Estábamos buscando un almuerzo ligero y nos quedamos impresionados con la elección que se ofrece. Dos miembros serviciales del personal de guardia que nos atendieron muy bien. excelente comida y dri nk que tenía un precio razonable. Volveré.

21/04/2025: Nos detuvimos después de una película anoche. Abarrotado el Domingo de Pascua por la noche y consiguió la última mesa. La "Job Burger" de mi marido era enorme y deliciosa, con patatas fritas perfectamente cocinadas. ¡Mi Tagliatelle Carbonara estaba fuera de este mundo! Tan ligero, cremoso, lleno de pollo tierno y una porción enorme que acabo de terminar. ¡Este restaurante sabe cómo hacerlo! Ideal para viajeros o habituales - - volveremos!

29/01/2025: Hola solo pasando supermacks en killlarney Fui a tomar un café. Tengo un café con leche El servicio era 100%. Rápido y amable El servidor era excepcionalmente amable y muy enfocado al cliente un gran embajador para Supermacks killarney. Su nombre era Kira.

01/05/2025: The bar is now completely run down. One can only warn against it. Don't let the 4.X rating fool you. RnB music and lousy service. The store was obviously very nice to look at years ago, and that's what the furnishings look like. But now there is nothing left of it.
