05/07/2025: Excellent vibe, pizza, beer, and service.

12/06/2025: Nice atmosphere and a small selection of house beers. Unfortunately, not all of them were tasty, as we're used to better ones in Germany. Still, it's worth a visit and trying a few. It's best to order 3 or 6 flights to try the different beers. You'll then receive 3 or 6 1/3 pints of your choice, respectively, for either €8 or €16.

21/07/2026: My partner and I reserved a table for two at 7:30 pm. We were very satisfied with our visit in every respect. The service was attentive and the food was served quickly. The drinks menu had a good selection, including non-alcoholic wine, Prosecco, beer, and cider. The non-alcoholic white wine was a bit too acidic for our taste. We really enjoyed the food. The three-course menu was a good deal for me at €66. However, we each ordered an appetizer and a main course. We each received a drink and a bottle of water.

21/07/2026: We visited Harrow to celebrate a joint birthday with my friend. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our special day. Our waiter (an older man) acted extremely arrogant and unprofessional. While eating our salad, I accidentally used the wrong knife set out on the table. Instead of professionally replacing it with a clean one, the waiter took away our clean knife and left us with the dirty, sauce-stained knife from the previous course to use for the next one. He did this to every one of us. It felt like a deliberate attempt to condescend, embarrass us, and ruin our mood on our birthday. Our guest had to step in and explicitly ask him to replace the dirty cutlery with clean ones. Later, he brought me my dessert (crème brûlée) with a spoon, making his previous point about the knives completely pointless. Leaving dirty cutlery for the next course is a gross violation of basic hygiene and hospitality standards. We are deeply disappointed by such snobbish and disrespectful treatment.

31/07/2026: We ordered our food, but the waiter didn't bring what we ordered. When it came time to pay, he was charging me for an extra hamburger and two bottles of water that we never ordered. Then he charged me for two sodas even though the menu said they were included. Be careful when you go to pay.

24/07/2026: Stopped in for burgers after a long travel day. We were seated quickly, staff was kind, but food was just ok! Good not great but we might have high burger standards. Decent prices tho!

15/06/2026: I don’t know how hotels get their star ratings in this country. But this is not a four star hotel to me. I’ve just spent two nights here as part of the AIMS Weekend 2026. To say we were treated as second class guests is an understatement. The attitude from the staff from the outset was good, but went dramatically downhill when we were being “frisked”is the only way to put it for alcohol being brought into our paid bedrooms. Can I just also add that we pay €450 each for a shared room for two nights bed and breakfast including our events tickets which are €120 so we don’t get any discount as some of us even have to share with two others so that the hotel making €990 on a room for two night. Not cheap. I have never come across this behaviour by any other hotel. Security with just simply rotten, argumentative attitudes were accosting Anyone seen bringing drink upstairs or downstairs and people who had bought a drink in the bar and simply returning to their bedrooms were being harassed by these individuals. I myself spoke to one of the guys who was patrolling the enterance at reception up to the bedrooms about his attitude and all I got was an argument of him. Terrible individual to people who are just trying to enjoy their weekend. This is a super weekend which brings in over 1400 people for the banquet on the Friday night so no small amount of money as you can imagine to the hotel. I will never forget the girl on the Saturday night being made prove that her drink which was water and cordial had no alcohol in it by offering it to the staff member to drink? shocking carry on. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom sadly is very dated. The water pressure in the sink was dangerously strong and I really don’t understand in this day and age why people still have shower curtains in their bathrooms. Everything about this hotel has remained the same for the over 10 years that I have been travelling to the AIMS Weekend 2026. Bar one or two other years where I have stayed in other better hotels. I will not stay in this hotel again and Will instead choose to just get tickets for the events and stay elsewhere. The staff in the bars and on reception, we’re all very helpful and lovely. But unfortunately, the others spoiled the experience for everybody. I am sure there will be other complaints made directly to the hotel and to the aims organising council. Personally, I think the weekend at this stage needs to go elsewhere.

09/06/2026: I stay in the apartments for Bikefest every year - the best way to do it! Great comfort and space on the same site of all going on. Staff are so super friendly and helpful also. Fantastic!

02/08/2026: Lovely clean restaurant, staff were lovely and so helpful

27/07/2026: Was here yesterday. Food was 10/10, lovely, hot and fresh. Place was very clean. Staff let it down. Was served by an older lady and she was very rude while we were ordering which put us off. The other member of staff just stood there watching us with her arms folded the whole time.

21/07/2026: Right in the centre, great staff, very clean,a good clean drink 🙂🍻 rooms spectacular 🤩 l highly recommend.l did only see the staff whenever l had the pleasure to visit the bar 🍻,a real original sports bar, absolutely amazing,l can't wait to go back!

12/07/2026: We stayed here while attending a wedding in the Great Southern hotel. Nice and central, basic but lovely beds ,nice shower ,didn't include breakfast.

20/07/2026: There were two of us here around 3:30 pm. We sat outside in the alley. The atmosphere was nice. There was no table service; it was self-service. I ordered two drinks and two small snacks at the bar. I then received cutlery, sauces, and the drinks, and the food was brought to me. The Coke was 200ml and not chilled, while the cider listed on the bill as 500ml was actually a 0.33ml bottle. When I asked about it, they said it was the non-alcoholic version they had and that was correct. The smoked sandwich and the fried brie arrived very quickly and were delicious.

04/07/2026: Went to watch the World Cup on the big screen but had to endure an extremely loud and not very good duo who began their set 15 minutes before kick off so we left.

06/05/2026: With a bit of time to burn before the tour, we slipped into Ri-Ra Irish Cafe & Bar for a quick reset. Nothing complicated, just a solid coffee and a sausage roll that delivered exactly what it should; flaky, warm, and gone quicker than expected. It was one of those easy stops that sets the tone for the day, good food, relaxed pace, and a place that makes you want to sit just a little longer than planned.

14/03/2026: Overpriced for what it is & older staff member shouted and roared at customers. Plenty of other wonderful places for a quick coffee in the area, I unfortunately will never return. Reply: Correct, drive thru only

02/07/2026: The food was tasty, the portions were small, and the staff were friendly. However, there were a couple of unpleasant situations. First, the food I didn't finish and asked to take away was thrown out because they thought I wanted them to "take it away." At the beginning of our visit, I asked them to put my container in the fridge. I didn't say there was a cake inside (I was bringing it to my parents). At the end, my mom mentioned that it was my birthday and asked if they could congratulate me. The staff took my cake out of the container without asking, decorated it with berries and candles, and brought it out. Thank you for the gesture, but you should have asked for my permission before taking my cake.
