The best restaurants in Killarney

15/03/2025: A luxury hotel missing some luxury. Like hot water. After a day of hiking 10 miles thru the Gap of Dunloe, my wife and I were looking forward to a hot bath/shower. Bath water was a dark yellow and luke warm at best. The shower the next morning went from luke warm to cold. Stopped by the front desk to make mention of it. I overheard maintenance tell the supervisor "I don't know what they're complaining about, this is the temp". The supervisor then proceeded to tell me that this is the temp and it's hot. Uhmm, not it's not. I don't appreciate the gaslighting. Front desk people were delightful, if not for them this hotel would get a 1 star. We checked out and are staying at the Cahernane up the road where they have hot water that is actually adjustable.

10/01/2025: We really liked the location which was a short drive away from all the attractions on the ring! Nice interiors and the room was big! Lobby and overall surroundings were also tastefully done up. They have both ground level and basement parking. Breakfast was also included in the rate and whilst the buffet variety is limited, there are more options which you can order through the menu. There is a lift, but plenty of steps towards the rooms which may be an accessibility issue for some. But overall we had a great stay and would consider again if we were to come back!
