11/03/2025: Coffee was good, but staff was not friendly at all. Don't understand all the positive reviews. Killarney has loads of other cafés on offer, plus genuine and friendly staff. Will not be returning as attitude is very important to feel welcome and enjoy a nice coffee break.

13/01/2025: Whenever i go Killarney, it's a must to go to cafe passion, i really like and admire the owner or the man behind the counter, he always with a smile and all the ladies who works there are also nice. I always eat the same cake when i go there because there was a similar cake i used to have when i was a child so it basically reminds me of home. Keep up the good work ❣️

02/02/2025: Had the Indonesian rendang curry. The staff were talkative and friendly with excellent English. My one problem with an otherwise great experience is that my friend couldn’t get dessert. I thought that restaurant in Malaysia don’t serve dessert but I googled and they do. That’s why I am not giving this otherwise excellent restaurant full marks. But if ur watching ur waistline it is just the place for you:-). God bless

24/01/2025: Unfortunately, a bad experience, we enter the restaurant and the person who welcomes us is immediately very arrogant and annoyed, with a few words tells us to choose the table; he takes the reservation and when we asked for information he started snorting. Let's try not to give it too much weight so as not to ruin our appetite; once the food arrives we taste it and with regret we notice that the chicken used for our dishes has gone bad, with a very unpleasant flavour. Once the waitress brought the food she never showed up again, neither to check if everything was ok nor to clear the table so after waiting more than 30 minutes we decide to get up and pay directly at the cash register. I definitely won't go back there again

22/01/2025: Had a great dinning experience here last week. The chowder was rich and well portioned. The squid and chips a huge portion perfectly cooked. Steve our Maitre’d was welcoming and friendly. Thank you to the team at the Mad Monk for the enjoyable outing.

15/12/2024: Had a great time at Mad Monk! The fish and chips were spot on—crispy and delicious. Michael and Ryan were super friendly and made the experience really enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit!

29/01/2025: Hola solo pasando supermacks en killlarney Fui a tomar un café. Tengo un café con leche El servicio era 100%. Rápido y amable El servidor era excepcionalmente amable y muy enfocado al cliente un gran embajador para Supermacks killarney. Su nombre era Kira.

10/02/2025: This restaurant was actually recommended to us by a fisherman. There’s a restaurant part in the back and both times we were there, we could enjoy great music with local musicians sitting in the front area. Food was good as well and price-wise they were a bit cheaper than the others. The staff was also just amazing and we really had a great time there!

13/01/2025: Went for a meal a few weeks ago and couldn't get over how bad this food was for the price they were asking for. I ordered a lasagne and when I got it, it was just lasagne no side salad or fries like you would get in any other restaurant and lasagne was tasteless. My boyfriend ordered steak, it was the thinest piece of steak and was completely overcooked and dry. It honestly looked like a piece of steak you'd get cheap in a supermarket. They offered no sauce and it came with 3-4 baby potatoes for over 20 euro. It was the first time I wanted to get up and walk out just from looking at the food but I'm just too polite unfortunately. Side note the wine tasted like it was from a bottle that was opened several days beforehand. Just save your money go somewhere else. Shocking how they get away with charging what they do for what they serve.

03/01/2025: I classed it as the best pint in ireland a few months ago the standard has fallen. Barman doesn't want to be there and it shows in the fallen standard. I will call again later in the year.

Fuimos allí a jugar a los dardos mientras bebíamos cervezas y eso es lo que conseguimos! ¡Hemos conocido chicos que jugaban con nosotros y nos sentíamos como si fuéramos parte de ello! ¡Un ambiente auténtico y tradicional! Además, el camarero era adorable, Shane, y no se enfadó conmigo mientras gritaba demasiado 😅 (¡Estaba ganando! ) Gracias Shane, Robert (en el bar) y todos los irlandeses que hemos conocido! ¡¡Volveremos!!!!

21/02/2025: Very friendly, efficient and accommodating with a lovely and lively atmosphere. I was looking for somewhere for a breakfast lunch with space to sit and get some work done. The team here were very obliging and attentive to my needs. I felt welcomed and enjoyed the experience.

02/12/2024: Customer service was great. We are not from town and we were very late getting dinner. This dominos was the only place close to us and it was nearly closing time. Staff Gustai was so kind and patient taking & fulfilling our last minute order. We appreciate it!

28/10/2024: I thought the price of the food was a little bit high, but I was expecting the food to be very good..... it was not very good for the price we paid. The service was not good. They brought out a tray, a cappuccino, and a BLT. The cappuccino wasn't on a saucer, no spoons or stirrers provided, no sugar, and no milk. When she dropped them onto the table, the cappuccino spilt and made a mess. She forgot my Americano and had to go back for it. Again, she came back without saucer, spoons, milk, or sugar. I didn't like how it was carried out without a tray, and she was just holding it by the handle. The price we paid didn't reflect the service we got (or lack thereof).

17/09/2024: Stopped here for lunch yesterday the food was nice. The service wasn't great. We ordered two wraps and while they were being made we asked the lady that served us if we could take our seat outside and she told us there's 15 seconds left in the toaster if we can wait for our wraps to take them out ourselves. I found this extremely odd, the cafe was empty and there were 2 tables outside with just coffees, while 4 staff members were behind the counter, one looking at her phone as I waited for my food.. bizarre!..

06/01/2025: Este lugar es como torres Fawlty excepto que peor y el propietario es como Basil, excepto más loco. Cuando entramos por primera vez en este orzuelo de cerdo, nos sorprendió que nos dijeran por el frente de la casa que todos debemos usar los sombreros de papel de aluminio que estaban dando. Era para protegernos de las señales 5 G, nos dijeron. Cualquiera que tuviera el pinchazo de COVID tuvo que irse en caso de que derramáramos partículas virales sobre sus clientes inexistentes. Los ingredientes son en su mayoría de una lata. El Prosecco es tibia, la bienvenida, genial. Evite la especialidad - los bollos de intolerancia a la parrilla.
