Treyvaud's in Killarney

Really enjoyed our dinner! We felt unwelcome in another restaurant down the street but were welcomed into their best table when we asked if reservations were needed. Our waitress gave wonderful recommendations and we loved our food. The fish cakes were delightful and I absolutely loved my prawns main! Creamy but light and flavorful. My husband loved his roasted duck as well and duck has been hit or miss (mostly miss) for us in many parts of the world (except for France). We were checked in on twice by two different people, and the staff was quite helpful. The menus were also funny - a little quip about not being psychic so to please let them know about allergies, and instructions for take away if you’re in a hurry because all the food is made fresh. This made me happy - I’m in the mood for fresh clean food and that’s what I got!! Plus cute ambience with string lights, candles, and color combos (no dress code though!). This was absolutely great dinner experience and I highly recommend!

Very good eatery in Kilarney. Excellent service and friendly staff. Clean interior and well kept.

Please don't be put off by the price. What you get for it exceeds your expectations. I would happily have the soup and dessert again. If I come to Ireland again, my steps will lead me here.

Our family had a lovely meal at Treyvauds to celebrate the release of college results. Paul took time to chat with us away from his very busy restaurant and made us feel very welcomed. I had the best prawn cocktail. I would also highly recommend the Risotto and the duck dish. It was better than the fine dining we had in Paris.

One of the top 10 steaks I’ve had, and I was not expecting that. Terrific spot and very welcoming. Deservedly more stars!

One of the best Restaurants in Ireland I have gone to!

I don't usually do reviews but I had to post here after attending Treyvaud's last week. Absolutely fantastic. I had the smoked salmon starter and duck for main. It was absolutely delicious 10 out of 10. My wife had the salmon main which was also superb and we shared a carafe of the house white. I have eaten in a lot of restaurants in Killarney but this one is top notch. The staff and service was great, I could not fault it. Will definitely be back when I find myself in Kerry again. Wonderful meal, staff was excellent

Treyvaud's was recommended to us as a bit of an unknown gem, and it truly delivered. The food was excellent, the service knowledgeable and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely come back again if I'm in town.
