The Gleneagle Hotel & Apartments in Killarney

Lovely hotel, staff were so nice and friendly. Rooms were nice, not great. Shower wasn't great. Hotel itself was lovely, food was tasty and location was very central. Big venue for entertainment too. Great for kids too, pool was great and entertainment in the evening (during Easter break).

Stayed overnight on Easter Sunday to see the Wolfe Tones. Myself and my father had a twin room and the beds were tiny. Bathroom was also tiny as was the shower and while sitting on the toilet you have a big mirror looking back at you. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs to rethink it. Food was lovely in the restaurants, dinner, bar food and breakfast. Very limited selection on draught beers.

Great hotel with plenty of amenities, great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff and live entertainment nearly every night. Worth the price and would definitely recommend. They have a shuttle to the town which costs €2 per trip and it actually picked me up from the train station which is where a lot of people get down from. They have a nice library, swimming pool, plenty of good restaurants and entertainment as well. The beds and bathrooms are good. If you are lucky, you will get a room with a view of the deer enclosure, allowing you to see deers in the morning while sitting on the balcony of your room. They will also pack your breakfast if you don't have time to have it and it's quite good.

Stayed two nights, couldn't find a fault, from staff to food to entertainment. Will be going back

One of the best hotels in the country

I booked my parents for my mothers birthday and they only have good words about their trip. Very professional and efficient hotel. A welcoming hotel from the moment you walk into the hotel. Elena the receptionist was there with a friendly smile. Really good food and friendly staff in the bistro and for breakfast. They will definitely be back
