McDonald's in Killarney

13/09/2026: It’s a busy little branch and probably the smallest I have ever been to. Yet the staff work hard to keep the queues moving. The Mac-auto service (takeaway) is fast and efficient but there is always a queue of cars wrapped around the whole site of the restaurant. The cars do move fast though so don’t be put off by that. The food and specials are pretty much what you would expect and consistent. Never had to complain or return any items we have bought ever! Specials like Fish-o-fillet can take a while to prepare from scratch but worth the wait and the double fish burger is great value. Apple pies are delicious too but not always available off the shelf so a few minute wait may be experienced. I think they would benefit from a larger site but it kinda works and has done since their opening. Children’s table too and I only saw 4 self service screens. Toilets are at the back. Top tip: park after the restaurant if you can or you may get caught behind the Mac-auto queue when attempting to leave the car park, especially during mealtimes and summer time too.
