The staff are very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Greek street food in Dublin!

08/09/2026: This is Holy Buckets stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We ordered the cod fish chipper with their homemade tartar sauce. Yes! Go! He makes it fresh right there!

08/09/2026: Highly recommended if you like fish and chips and know what to expect. Fresh local fish; we ordered smoked cod and monkfish, both excellent, especially the monkfish. The chips were very good, though perhaps a little less salt would have been nice. Friendly staff (I didn't notice if they washed their hands, as the food is cooked at high temperatures, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger). There's a bar with a few stools where you can eat your order. The music is a bit loud. Orders take about 10 to 15 minutes to arrive, as everything is prepared fresh.

09/10/2026: Best kebab and chips we've ever had along with lovely friendly people. We popped in prior to our sailing to Bilbao and will definitely do so again when we are in the area. Wish there was a takeaway like this where we are going!

21/08/2026: It was my first spice bag experience. This is one of the few places in the city that cooks in a separate fryer for the vegan options. The vegan chicken spice bag with curry sauce (included) was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

10/09/2026: It’s a popular place with variety flavors, e.g. pizza, fish & chips, desserts and some beers. Fast and nice service.

22/09/2026: I ordered over the phone and chose the time we would pick up, the phone was answered quickly and very professionally, when I arrived at the time I paid and my 2 Fish and one portion of chips was ready, the service and staff are excellent, the food was delicious cooked to perfection they deserved to win their accolade earlier in the year well done Thank you.

09/10/2026: The sis who came up and showed me the qr code gave me the heebie jeebies she insisted on getting a review and it made me uncomfortable. She was also sagging here bottoms to seem ‘cool’ I guess. As I’m typing this she is making a family of 4 leave a review while their youngest is crying. I mean WOW.

25/09/2026: I like the food here but I feel very unsafe when I sit down to eat due to aggressive people coming in and demanding money. A disclaimer - of course I'm empathetic to their situation and what they are going through, the crisis in Dublin overall is genuinely awful, and I acknowledge it is generally a broader systemic problem. The issue is I've been intimidated by people asking for money, who sit down opposite you uninvited or stand above you while sitting down having a meal, sometimes with others. At one point I was physically approached when I stood up to leave my table. You feel vulnerable as they demand and persist from you, and there is little you can do. Like you're physically sat down in the middle of having food, you feel sort of trapped. Unfortunately it keeps happening. While till staff may eventually approach them, it's not always immediately effective. It's a shame as I like the food. But I cannot sit down here and enjoy a meal as due to the lack of security I feel unsafe.

24/09/2026: A fairly large pub with an extensive menu. There are pool tables upstairs. Food isn't served everywhere, but you can order drinks to enjoy at the pool table. The staff gives you a very friendly welcome at the entrance and promptly shows you to a table. Everyone on the team is knowledgeable about the daily specials and can also provide information about all the other dishes on the menu. Despite the pub being relatively busy, the wait for food is quite short. All the food is fresh and homemade. Definitely recommended for a visit to Athlone.

06/09/2026: I usually judge a burrito based on its size and Tuco's did not disappoint. Massive burrito, loads of protein, delicious and spicy roja sauce. Highly recommend.
