14/11/2024: Got different items off their menu ......all really good but they have a dish called lamb kebab box ........it's simple unreal ,lamb is cooked to perfection 👌 and really good value The guys working there don't just cook the food but will have the craic with ya and entertain you with there banter Great place highly recommended to go

20/10/2024: Menu is massive. Quantity over quality for sure . Was served old chips. Tasted disgusting.🤢 Price is not great, 7 euro for a few small chicken dippers. Chicken in kebab was quite nice but Over all not worth the price plus wait times.

21/08/2024: Travelled to this chipper from Bundoran. 9 minutes drive away. I have to say this is the nicest chipper I think I’ve ever had. Pizza was delicious, not oily like most chipper pizzas. Chips were like oven chips, burgers were lovely and the curry sauce was absolutely to die for. Highly recommend this takeaway.

29/10/2024: Mexican with good quality price with large portions. The burritos have a lot of flavor and are quite a good size. They have several offers and the truth is that for Dublin the price is great. They also have several vegetarian options and the service is quite fast because it is fast food but with everything homemade. There are also several hot sauces on the tables that you can use to your liking. Without a doubt if I return I would repeat it.

21/10/2024: Was sadly underwhelmed. Was glad to see a vegan option, however found the food quite salty. The “guacamole” was very different than the creamy style I was used to (see photos). It was mostly just tomato and onion

26/10/2024: The chips are the only good thing here, Everytime I go downtown i would get a bag of chips. The nuggets taste like rubber and the pizza is like cold dog food. I love the people in the place they’re great craic. Sadly i have to give this place a 2/5 ):

26/07/2024: Got an amazing chicken burger meal in Hillbilly’s takeaway on Monday. The crunchy coating on the burger was soo tasty whatever spices they use, amazing flavour 😍 and chips n large drink. The friendly guy serving was pleasant and smiling, really welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back again for more 💯%

29/10/2024: Maybe I'm being a little too harsh with my recession. The prices are actually "completely ok", but you only get a maximum of "completely ok" served. My burger for example, the Quarter Pound. A meatball, buns and onion. No sauce, cheese or salad. Nothing. That was the first time I enjoyed the burger in McDonald's more than anywhere else. The portion of fries is decent, so you can easily share it, but the base is always the same. So Garlic Chips are not garlic seasoned/fried fries, but simply the same fries with a garlic dip. I think paying almost 2 euros for the dip is a bit too much. Anyone who is hungry will be full. Unfortunately I can't say more.

Incredible pizza, unlike anything I have ever had before. the best pizza of all time, in fact the best food of all time. There is nothing that can compare to the atmosphere, quality and caring feeling you get when you take one step inside of Frank's Fryer. I am privileged to have ever been alive at the same time as this establishment. Thank you, Frank's Fryer.

05/08/2024: Got some party platters from Franks. Food was delicious and roasting hot. Was well wrapped and already mixed which was brilliant. Had chips, gougons, nuggets, sausages and onion rings. Would get them here every time. Frank and staff brilliant to deal with. Thanks everyone.

05/10/2024: I have been buying takeaways occasionaly from Blue Thunder Westport for the last three years This evening I placed a telephone order at 19.13 and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes which is usual. Went to collect my order paid for it an was told it would be ready in a few minutes which was fine. I live just 4 minutes away from the takeaway. When I arrived home and opened the bags to served the food to my family the meals were soggy and cold ..we were disgusted and disappointed. After thinking about itI rang Blue Thunder and asked to speak to the manager. I was put onto a lady called Karen who said she was the owner. I told her...or tried to tell her how disgusted we were with the meal after paying over 40 euro for it . She became very defensive and muttered something about her husband. . ..also muttered something about CCTV....what she meant I have no idea. I was served by a lovely young girl. Karen would not let me speak without interuption and then hung up on me I rang her back after 4 minutes and she told me I was a very rude woman and to go ahead and do a review and claimed I actually hung up on her which I certainty did not...then she proceeded to hang up on me again. My adult family are horrified at the way she treated me as she was on loudspeaker and they heard every word . I will let my story speak for itself..Needless to say nobody in my family will ever use Blue Thunder takeaway again.
