The best restaurantsof fast food

18/11/2025: I remember when I was young, you could buy a family bucket for €20 with so much food it could feed a family with 2 kids. Nowadays for €20 you can get 3 chicken legs with a few fries, drink and a cookie. Absolutely shocking how expensive it has become to eat at KFC

16/11/2025: The place was so dirty , there was no reason to be that dirty , was so many staff doing nothing , the fries were cold and soggy ,chicken was not even re heated , soda was so light like there was no gas on it , ordered for mash and gravy and the mash was cold too , is one of the worst KFCs it’s so sad, I feel it does not make any justice , even the most problematic in Dublin would serve you warm food.

05/10/2025: Sometimes, it’s the simplest of dishes that are hard to get right… Take that age old takeaway favourite, Fish & Chips, for instance… intentions are usually good but invariably gets served as some insipid tasteless piece of is-it-or-isn’t-it-cod with a mediocre batter on top of a congealed mush of soggy chips. Sound familiar?? Enter AJ’s in Ballyshannon. The chips (…and they were PROPER chips) were plentiful and that lovely combination of fluffy centred and crispy outside, and perched on top of this potato perfection was a slab of the finest flakiest fishiest feed, swaddled lovingly in a blanket of the tastiest crispiest batter this side of Batterstown! I can’t begin to describe the joy that deep fried fish can bring, all that it was missing was being wrapped in a sheet of yesterday’s news. AJ’s are definitely doing fish the way fish should be done, light and lovely… I’m not codding! Treat yourself to a day off cooking with a takeaway the way takeaways are meant to be taken away. 15/10 for crispy coddiness!!

03/11/2025: The staff here are great, it is clean but it could be a little bit cleaner. There was one member of staff who was truly amazing and did keep the restaurant clean to the best of his ability

14/10/2025: Called in today for a quick bite to eat after school. I have been eating here for years. The touch screens are very helpful and make the shop run smoothly. Quick turnaround time. Went in to order at 16:10 and came out about 16:20. The drive thru is very handy for anyone who wants to bring it straight home or eat it in their car. If anyone is looking for a place to eat, McDonald’s is the place to go!

03/10/2025: Not long after a collection order, family Thursday deal, wings, burger, garlic bread with cheese, baguette with chips and a drink. Service was spot on from phone order to collection, friendly staff and a nice girl even opened the door when I was leaving. The food was absolutely banging, if Mr Donatello himself walked in the door and asked what could be done better I genuinely wouldn't have an answer, absolutely not one fault could be found with any of the food, from one chef to another 👏👏👏👏👏👏 keep her lit

06/09/2025: Who ever was on shift tonight (5th September) hats off to the cooks. Tonight's baguette was the nicest baguette i have had from donatellos in a long time. Ingredients all tasted so fresh and ratios of toppings in baguette was perfect. Absolutely beautiful, hopefuly high standard keeps up 👏🙏

06/10/2025: A culinary masterpiece. Chicken so tender it melts in your mouth. Gravy so rich and complex it's an exploration of flavour. Chips so crispy it's a dream come true. Chicken hut should be studied by the culinary students who have aspirations to make something truly wonderful. Any 3 star michellin resturant would love to be in the position of Chicken hut with food so good it transcends boundaries. 5 stars is an understatement. This is resturant is truly a gift from God.

14/10/2025: Purchased food from the Camile Lucan branch and when I tried to eat it, there was a bad smell off it. When I ate the chicken the taste was awful and it seemed like it was gone off. We called Camile Lucan who werent helpful at all. After some discussion they said they would come to the house to collect it. I took the nearly full container out of the bin and they took it away and we called them 30 minutes later to ask for our refund. We were told that there would be no refund and the chicken was fine. It most certainly was not. They were being very smart with us with a complete disregard for the fact that we paid money for a product that was gone off and now back with them! Do not order from this place unless you want food poisoning and a headache from rude staff. Would give zero stars if google would let me.

27/09/2025: The food here was excellent for the price. Everything was so fresh and made with care. You can tell the guy running the place cares about the quality and his customers. I will definitely stop by here again if I'm in town.

21/07/2025: I walked into Frank's Fryer a boy, and left a man with a large chips in hand. Frank's Fryer is a culinary landmark, a beacon of deliciousness in a world of ordinary food. The aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water. A symphony of sizzling juicy sausages, crispy golden chips, and the tantalizing scent of freshly fried everything. The pizzas are handmade to perfection, perfectly encapsulating the love and care the staff put into every meal. Speaking of staff there is a particularly dashing till boy working in there making it well worth a visit! All in all, after you come to Frank's all other food pales in comparison, truly the pinnacle of thousands of years of culinary evolution. 17/10/2025: If you visit Galway, Charcoal Grill is a must try, it’s very central and the food is banging!

12/10/2025: Right time, right place. And Chaka Aga was the man for the job! I had the lamb kebab and my son had the mixed kebab. We were hungry after a day of hiking the Cliffs of Moher and The Charcoal Grill did not disappoint. Thanks Shaka!
