The best restaurantsof fast food in Monaghan

05/09/2026: The food is ok but the older blonde lady who works there is unhinged. She was completely racist and rude to a group of teenagers who came in. One was looking to apply for a job and she kept saying “you need good English” over and over in an aggressive tone. When he left she said “if he worked here I’d quit” while sweeping around angrily. She obviously hates people and her job. Makes everyone around her feel uncomfortable, my 12 year old rushed eating just so we could get out of there. Definitely won’t be back to this branch. Felt sorry for the young girl working with her.

26/07/2026: I've been to this Subway quite a few times, and overall the food is always good. The shawarma sub is definitely my favourite—it's really tasty and one I'd recommend. The staff experience depends on who serves you. There's a blonde lady with short hair who seems to expect customers to know exactly what they want before getting to the counter. If you know your order, she's quick and efficient, and I've never personally had an issue with her. However, I've seen her come across as impatient with customers who are unsure or take a while to decide, which can make the experience feel a bit uncomfortable. On the other hand, there's a lady with black hair, who I believe is the manager, and she's always been lovely and welcoming. There's also a younger member of staff who's genuinely one of the nicest people I've met—she's always friendly, patient, and makes everyone feel welcome. She has such a positive attitude and really adds to the customer experience. Overall, the food is consistently good, especially the shawarma sub, and most of the staff are fantastic. My only criticism is that some customers may feel rushed if they're still deciding what they'd like to order.
