01/09/2026: Have used taste of spice many many times and each time the food has been very fresh, hot and tasty. The curries are so lovely and each time all the staff have a wonderful welcome for you. Have recommended to many friends who are just as pleased with it.

23/08/2026: Me and 4 other family members had this today and it was absoloutly great. I got a mixed doner wrap and it was well packed, the meats were succulent and juicy and it was fresh. Very fast and polite servive. Really reccomend

16/08/2026: 25 minute wait for a simple order, was asked 3 times what my order was when it was relatively quiet. Staff have a crabby attitude as if you’re bothering them going at a snails pace and order was incorrect to top it off. Reading the owners childish responses to similar reviews says it all about their attitude to customers, avoid avoid avoid!

30/08/2026: Everything out of stock. Want the signature burger... nope out of stock... Want a qaurter pounder nope out of stock.... Want healthy alternative for kids snacks... nope out of stock.... Want a book instead of a toy for the happy meal... guess what... nope... out of stock. Food was good. Staff were polite and freindly, seemed embarrassed about the rations. Here visiting for the week and i use to come here a few years ago and seems to have gone down hill. Shame really. Was one of the better mcdonalds.

25/08/2026: This McDonald’s feels like it hasn’t changed in 20 years (as a good thing). Service is exceptional and there’s always 1-2 workers walking around cleaning and maintaining the place. Everyone’s friendly and food comes out quick

07/09/2026: Stopped at this takeaway by chance and were glad we did. Super fresh chips served quickly. We tried the onion bites as never heard of such before - they were delicious. Very good value for money compared to our usual chippy.

21/08/2026: Disgusting experience, has been good for years no idea what happened . Got ice cream a few months ago and i’m not the type to complain or make a scene but this is the final straw with this place after finding multiple hairs in food… outright disgusting. It’s in the cookie from the icecream, small black hair if you look closely. I did not want to cause a scene, or complain but after some while I built up courage and quietly asked for a new one, I got a new one and just as I sat down to eat it I look closely again and I wish I was making this up, a hair again, in the same spot, in the cookie again. I believe that hair just got in the plastic container they keep the cookies in or whatever container and they just covered them in hairs. So disgusting, first time I could deal with it, but the second time I just felt nauseous, in the bin there and then. That was my first trouble with this place… I believed it was just desserts so I told myself I would stay away. Just to add - after we ordered those ice creams my partner went up to get a burger for takeaway, one of the workers speaks in a foreign language to another workers saying essentially “Just scranning over there” regarding us.. but just imagine a worse adjective than scranning but I cannot translate accurately into english. My partner understood and heard, she clearly didn’t expect that and when he stared at her after she said that nasty comment she quickly looked away in embarrassment. Very lucky we didn’t say much that day but it was a horrible experience to say the least. A family member ordered me a burger takeaway from there again maybe 2 months later as I opened it took max 2 bites, sitting in between the meat and bun I found another hair, long and brown/black. Look you might not believe me as obviously the picture is from home but believe me I didn’t want to either, not only my hair is blonde, my hair also wouldn’t get submerged like that into the burger if it was possibly mine…. I pulled it out, took the picture, and I am now leaving this review. Shocking god knows what happened to this place never coming back traumatised me enough. Third time is not the charm.

17/08/2026: Honestly, you can't help some companies. Chicken deep fried like it was revenge! Milkshake is just milk... Not sure why they don't just say chocolate milk, would not be disappointed with chocolate milk, but you called it a milkshake?!?! Chips 3/5! Like how do you make OKAY fries? Who the hell got up one day and said: "I want to be mediocre!" Well, whoever it was, well done you are a great success!!!!

When called out, the staff just said, "Oh, the monitor showed it wrong, in our system it's a single burger. Sorry." What good is your "sorry" when I paid for and wanted a double burger? Absolute failure of service and total disrespect for customers.

21/09/2026: A fine KFC establishment like many around Ireland and the UK that I've had the pleasure to frequent. Relatively clean and fast. Notably they had a "roll" on the menu, essentially a sub-roll sandwich, with a fillet cut up into it. Which I unfortunately was allured into purchasing. Would not recommend. However, the remainder of the menu ordered by my friends was as expected, delicious and seasoned with them mysteries herbs and spices. Would recommend a visit, but be wary of the sub-roll on the menu, if you see it.

02/09/2026: The food was pretty decent, its fried chicken what do you expect, but when I finished eating it started raining red rain outside, only for a few seconds. Immediately after, a blue smiley face appeared above my waiter with a clock, and shortly after turned him blue! I will have to say as well I saw some zombies crawling around the place, wanting fresh meat? It was probably all in my head. Oh and right after I left the place I started running from my sins.

08/08/2026: I’m a regular customer here and visit quite often, usually with a friend. I normally order the chicken wrap deal for €9.90, so today I ordered the same deal with a coffee instead of fries. When I went to pay, I was charged €14.10. I pointed this out, as I knew the deal was €9.90, and the staff member checked with her colleague and corrected the mistake, refunding me the difference. She also apologised, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, what happened afterwards left me quite uncomfortable. While I was sitting with my friend waiting for my food, the staff member came over and asked if she could check whether I had actually paid €14.10. I understand that staff may need to verify transactions, especially when there are issues with the system, but given that I had already explained the situation and the mistake had already been acknowledged and corrected, I found the way this was handled quite uncomfortable. It made me feel as though I was being asked to prove something I had already truthfully explained. I’ve also experienced issues with the ordering system here before, including a Just Eat order that didn’t appear on their system immediately. I completely understand that technical issues happen, but delays or problems with the system shouldn’t make the customer feel responsible for proving what they have ordered or paid for. I’m not leaving this review because a mistake was made mistakes happen. I’m leaving it because of how the situation made me feel as a regular customer. I like coming here and have always been happy to return, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback constructively and looks into both the system issues and how situations like this are handled with customers. A simple mistake can easily be resolved, but the way it is handled makes a big difference to how a customer feels when they leave.

10/05/2026: I’m new to this area. I ate here recently with my child. A big step up from your average chipper. You can eat a burger and still feel good afterwards! Lovely staff running the place. I suppose family of original location. Nice thoughtful decor too. I wish them good luck.
