Four Lanterns in Sligo

Lived in Sligo over ten years ago now, and still get cravings for the sauce these guys made for chicken fillet burgers/rolls. Hope it’s still as good. Oh how I wish you guys could post the sauce to Scotland!!! lol. 👌🥹☺️

In and out , this is Irish owned and it shows in the meat and chicken. Much superior to American Corporate sludge being peddled up the street. The Milkshake section is a poor cousin of Shakedog and Mcds. It's always clean and warm and frequented by locals who are known by name . Friendly folk! Parking is possible if you are nimble and good at Reverse parking. There are some 20min quick parking spots outside.Free for 20!!

Food wasn't as good as it used to be here, very thrown together and our chicken tenders were way over done they were hard. Place is living off its name, time for a spruce up and a good scrub, chairs, windows, floor, bathroom were mank. Totally disappointed by this.

Haven't been in since before COVID and was dying for burger Nd strawberry milkshake. It wasn't worth the wait.

We always go to the four lanterns when we visit sligo. It's the best. Chips 🍟 and milk shakes are yummy 😋. Love it.

This place has been selling chips in sligo since the 1970s part of the history of the town and culture a night is never over without a trip to the " 4 Lights"
