Tuco's Taqueria in Sligo

Since leaving San Francisco in '22 I've been looking for a good taco and burrito. The wait is over!!!! I can't say enough great things about this place, the staff, and the FOOD. It's exceptional. Need a Mexican food fix, this place is it. Get the mango salsa, too... it's out of this world.

I only got the Enchiladas and Tacos with Salsa as a take-out option, so I can not state anything in regards to the dine in experience. Although, the service seemed to be efficient and the place has a nice relaxing atmosphere.

The add on prices to everything is a turn off. Vegetarian option not having guacamole included is a shamei ts €1.95 extra and tortilla chips with cheese €6.95 which is just a lump of melted cheddar cheese on top of greasy chips is scandalous you, none of the lower chips have any cheese and are juat grease. Queso style melted cheese sauce is definitely missing.

As someone born and raised in Southern California, it was so awesome to find actually authentic Mexican food. The staff are amazing, very welcoming and helpful. My carnitas burrito was PERFECT, definitely coming back every time I visit. If you live in Sligo or are just visiting and want truly authentic Mexican food, look no further than Tuco's.

Did the job! Nice big portions and lots of flavour

Excellent food. The portion size is very good and 10.95€ is a good price in my opinion. It gives a very authentic style eith mexican lemonade etc. I had the burrito and the enchiladas both was great. And I don't see a problem if one salsa and one type of beans is run out at 7pm that can happen everywhere.
