The best restaurants in Sligo

04/04/2026: 5 Star experience. Staff are amazing and so friendly. I have a 3 and 2 year old and we are away for Easter break. They received a goodie bag on arrival with chocolates and colouring activities for Easter. They have movies every night and a float in the swimming pool. Jay in the pool was brilliant with the kids. Thanks to Ann who gave the kids an Easter egg and made them feel at home. Mammy Johnsons ice cream stand pop up available everyday during our break a real extra treat. Breakfast was gorgeous and again the staff are wonderful and accommodating. Very little they haven't thought off. All these extras were free of charge at no extra cost which was fantastic and much appreciated. Location is perfect for trip to beach with strandhill only 10 minute drive We will be back 💯

03/04/2026: We had a wonderful experience in the Sligo Park Hotel. Food was fabulous, for both kids and adults. Staff could not do enough, especially Andrea. Very family friendly. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend it.

15/03/2026: Since dogs aren't allowed inside, we ate in the backyard, a bit of a hodgepodge, but nonetheless cozy. The "Chicken Parmy" was a hearty and satisfying meal. It wasn't haute cuisine, but it did the trick. Having also indulged in a dose of chill-rock (some might call it "alternative metal"), we left feeling completely satisfied.

16/03/2026: If you want a burger in Sligo you come to Flipside, the food is amazing, they have great options for allergies including coeliac.

15/03/2026: MIAM ! Burgers were really good !! The staff were very kind and welcoming. They even made the effort to speak French with us, which we really appreciated. Thanks again !! :))

15/03/2026: Booked for 7pm Arrived early 6.50pm Sat.... And waited, people on table behind us asked for and got the desert menu.. And got the desserts, people besides us ordered coffee, got their coffee.. but then. A table of three got seated AND the waiter then 5mins later took their order. THAT WAS ENOUGH! Myself and my daughter got up, I went over to this waiter , who had given us menus and our table. I said I'm sorry we are here 35mins and no one has taken our order, yet the table besides me sat down and within 5minutss you took their order. We are leaving!!!!!

09/03/2026: Really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered the dishes in the photo and they were excellent. I decided to go for something quick and asked the host to recommend something for me. It was perfect quick meal while in the town for work. The noodles were nicely cooked with a good mix of vegetables, and the stir-fried chicken dish had great flavour with fresh ingredients and a nice balance of spice. The portion size was generous and everything tasted freshly made. Overall, a very satisfying meal and I’d definitely order this again if I’m back in Sligo.

11/11/2025: Love this hotel got a fantastic balcony room it was outstanding got a lovely treat as we were celebrating 40th wedding anniversary, the hotel is so central in Sligo, private parking underneath hotel a small fee for secure parking. Our meal was beautiful and breakfast was outstanding too can’t wait to go back. The hotel staff was outstanding and attentive great hotel to visit.

18/03/2026: Absolutely fabulous meal last Saturday night. Was recommended to go here by a few people and it didn’t disappoint. The food was stunning, - we ordered the tomahawk and definitely would recommend if you visit. The staff are brilliant who genuinely cared about the experience, alongside the homemade bread at the start which was amazing - Definitely will be visiting again very soon.

01/04/2026: Amazing food and service. Every staff member is a credit to themselves and this fast food restaurant. We visited Tuesday and were made aware of the Tues/We deal of a main side and shake for €10!!Our server was such a lovely person and took good care of us. We visited with my elderly parents and she was so kind and went out of her way to take her time when taking their order. My dad ordered a coffee to go with his meal and before we even mentioned he might need water, she had offered. All our orders had to be altered due to different dietary needs and the food was amazing, so fresh too. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures. Will definitely be back.

05/03/2026: Wouldn`t be a great fan of diners and fast food,but I have to say,a really pleasant experience was had here,Tuesday 03/03/26. Same guy took our order,served us and took payment,and credit to him,he was really friendly and cheerful and smiling all through our visit. We got 2 totally different meals,both of which were great,hot,and tasty. The E10 deal is very good value in our opinion. We will be back next time we`re in Sligo. Continued success to all concerned. 19/02/2026: Incredible service. Food was ok. Got there tiktok famous chicken dish. Was drry overcooked and quite chewy, very heavy on mayo. Also got chownie to take away very odd tasted more like ginger pudding imo, not what i expected or wanted which was a brownie, not a sponge dessert. Service was great though best place ive been for service. Would like to go back and try something different tho. Bathrooms could be better very pokey but goregously decorated and im sure a great night out with company.

13/03/2026: Warning!! This pub charges arbitrarily. We went for dinner with friends and they manually added 10%. They claimed it was because there were a lot of us.

14/10/2025: My 1st time there and one of the staff keep glancing at me angrily. Don't know what her issue and when I go to the counter to pay, she intentionally bump into me and give me side eye. I DONT KNOW HER! The food is good,just like any Asian food but the waiter need to keep her attitude to herself! It's rude. T one who wearing the black and red cheongsam or Korean outfits on Friday. That attitude is unnecessary. I come there to eat not to see her poor attitude!!! Need to review this here as it need to be state out as it is what had happened that day!

06/01/2026: Lovely coffee ☕️ Very small cafe but great coffee and small choice of sandwiches but they are also very good. Some nice cakes too.

14/12/2025: My favourite place in town for coffee and a sandwich. It’s perfect for a quick grab-and-go, and the coffee is amazing. It’s become my regular spot and is now part of my daily routine.
