Hooked in Sligo

A decent restaurant on the heart of Sligo near the river offering a good view while eating.

An excellent stop for a bite. Whether it be lunch or dinner. This place was great! Fully accommodated me as a Celiac. And one of the few places that has gluten free fish and chips. And it was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant to any and all who enjoy a good mix of Asian, Mediterranean and pub fare. The cooks know what they’re doing here.

We had originally gone to another restaurant in the area and wasn't even acknowledged. We go to Hooked and immediately we were seated and greeted by a lovely server. She was attentive and kind. The food was phenomenal. Being American, I had to try the Fish & Chips. When my plate arrived I couldn't believe the amount that was on my plate. It was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was well decorated and had a great vibe. Loved every minute of the experience. I'm so glad we chose it. Thank you to Hooked for a great experience!

Perfect View, with the perfect meal🤍 I had a fantastic meal at Hooked in Sligo! Located right on Rockwood Parade near the Garavogue River, it’s a total gem with a really cool, quirky atmosphere—look out for the wooden boat hanging from the ceiling! The vibe is modern, warm, and very inviting. The food was the highlight of our visit. We started with the Buffalo Cauliflower (listed as their buffalo Cauliflower Wings), which were perfectly crispy and tossed in a delicious, spicy Bang Bang sauce. For the mains, the Chicken Salad was fresh and flavorful with a great kick, and the Chicken Burger (The Chick Fil Á) was outstanding—succulent Irish chicken on a toasted brioche bun with smoked applewood cheese.

Fast service, delicious food, great atmosphere.

Went in with the family for breakfast and the food was really good. The atmosphere was quite nice until some club music started playing at 10am? Not sure if it goes with the atmosphere.. Staff were lovely!

Friendly service (funnily enough, the surrounding empty tables weren't cleared). Food was OK, but I've had better soups.
