Swagman in Sligo

Best bar and food staff found in a pub yet. They made quick accommodations for our group and provided great cheerful service. Highly recommended.

Excellent vibes about this place! I believe it was a 'Dale' spotted us coming in and immediately made sure we had seats, which was highly sound of him and welcoming. Got seated next to and chatting to a long established regular 'Nathan' who was beyond civil and a credit to himself and to the pub. Pub itself is super cool, well presented, well lit, great music, superb beer garden, very relaxed, and drinks were spot on and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. Not just one of the best bars in Sligo, one the best bars in the country I reckon. Well done to all👌

Stopped in for a drink. Nice selection of the usual beers on draft and an excellent range of craft beers. Weather wasn't good when I was there but they have an excellent looking beer garden!

The beef sandwich and the chowder were very good!

Since dogs aren't allowed inside, we ate in the backyard, a bit of a hodgepodge, but nonetheless cozy. The "Chicken Parmy" was a hearty and satisfying meal. It wasn't haute cuisine, but it did the trick. Having also indulged in a dose of chill-rock (some might call it "alternative metal"), we left feeling completely satisfied.

Molly horrible jumped uped prefect , food really good, loose this waster waitress, and move on.

This is a pub that does grub. Great atmosphere, deceptively large premises. Pints are magic. Huge premium whiskey selection.

Fabulous bar and friendly staff

There are so many lovely and amazing bars here in Sligo. Swagman is my favorite. After a near decade of drinking here I'm proud to call it my local. If you want to experience a true "Irish pub" come to the Swag, great staff, great food and lots of local craft beer to choose from :) LGBTQ ally x
