04/08/2026: We went to The Harp Tavern for lunch and had a good experience. We tried a burger, which was decent, with a fairly average flavor, and a beef sandwich which, on the other hand, was delicious and the highlight of the meal.
We really liked the atmosphere: it's a place where tourists mingle with locals, giving it a very authentic feel. If you're looking for a pleasant pub to eat and have a drink in Sligo, it's worth a visit.

21/07/2026: THE PANCAKES AND BACON WERE AMAZING!!!! AND THE OMLETE WITH HAM!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmm so so so good
20/07/2026: For food - avoid. Ordered the ‘sasta bowl’ which was supposed to be roasted vegetables, hummus, toasted nuts and seeds. I paid €4.50 extra to add chicken. What I got was a bag of salad leaves, barely cooked courgette, pickled beetroot which was not mentioned on the menu, what you could only describe as a teaspoon of chicken on top and a tonne of hummus. Mentioned it the lovely staff who then brought down a bowl of some peppers, nuts and … more beetroot. Paid €16 for this, it was awful. Shame as it is on the river and a lovely setting.
