Harp Tavern in Sligo

We went to The Harp Tavern for lunch and had a good experience. We tried a burger, which was decent, with a fairly average flavor, and a beef sandwich which, on the other hand, was delicious and the highlight of the meal. We really liked the atmosphere: it's a place where tourists mingle with locals, giving it a very authentic feel. If you're looking for a pleasant pub to eat and have a drink in Sligo, it's worth a visit.

A fantastic combination of traditional friendly Irish pub hospitality and excellent food served with a contemporary twist. Staff are attentive and welcoming and the live music evenings are to be recommended too.

I love visiting the Harp Tavern for food & a few drinks. Really friendly atmosphere, the food is amazing and the service is always top notch. Ann in particular, always goes the extra mile for the customers and always makes you feel at home. Would highly recommend.

The seafood chowder was excellent - very rich in fish and full of flavour (maybe just slightly on the salty side, but still really enjoyable). The fish and chips were a standout: a huge portion, super fresh fish, perfectly cooked, with good sauce and plenty of chips. On top of that, the atmosphere was lovely, especially with local artists performing, it made the whole experience feel lively and authentic. Overall: great food, generous portions, and very good value for money. Would definitely come back.
