I love visiting the Harp Tavern for food & a few drinks. Really friendly atmosphere, the food is amazing and the service is always top notch. Ann in particular, always goes the extra mile for the customers and always makes you feel at home. Would highly recommend.

The seafood chowder was excellent - very rich in fish and full of flavour (maybe just slightly on the salty side, but still really enjoyable). The fish and chips were a standout: a huge portion, super fresh fish, perfectly cooked, with good sauce and plenty of chips. On top of that, the atmosphere was lovely, especially with local artists performing, it made the whole experience feel lively and authentic. Overall: great food, generous portions, and very good value for money. Would definitely come back.

Best burguer I've ever had! The chips were delicious too. Definitely recommend. Also, the staff is very nice and accommodating 🙂

Danny is the best server! Made us feel right at home. The stew is something not to miss, we loved it so much we drove back out of our way to eat it again! Banoffee is an absolute must- fresh and delicious. Pints cold and staff all super!

Seafood chowder was excellent, but the soda bread or brown bread was toasted. Untoasted next time please. That said, the place was spotless and the staff were very nice.

First time here, we had Guiness, bacon and cheese burger and the fish and chips. Everything was delicious. Our server was spot on with our lunch choices.

07/04/2026: Fabulous river side location to watch the world go by. Plus the food & staff are you class.
04/04/2026: Myself and my boyfriend stopped in here after getting on the bus from roscommon and were instantly met with smiling faces and a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered, sat in the corner and well, within 15 or so minutes two of the most well thought out, well put together meals were put in front of us. I got the Ubh Osta, and he got the jerk bap. The food was incredible, flavourful, and very well presented. We then spoke to a lovely girl called Denise, who told us a little bit about the journey of the food, where it comes from, etc. We tell her about where we are from, where we live, and eat our also unreal lemon cream cake (would recommend) and to thank us for visiting, Denise comes back to us with two scones on the house. Beautiful place, Amazing Staff, and incredible food. ❤️
