Great fun early evening jazz session

In a town with several very good pubs this is the great one. Beautiful, great staff, top notch whiskey selection and on any given day the best pint to be found in Sligo. This would be my local.

This pub was born from the merger of the local bar and the shop. Its decor features quite old artifacts, no wonder, since it opened in 1780. We received exquisite treatment from everyone (owner and staff), and while we enjoyed a pint of Guinness, they told us about the history of the establishment.

Welcomed by waiter, Paul, awesome guy there. Very authentic, old pub in the heart of Sligo. Very good vibe with lots of history. He showed us very old bottles and equipement too. Highly recommended!
