11/04/2026: Best bar and food staff found in a pub yet. They made quick accommodations for our group and provided great cheerful service. Highly recommended.
06/04/2026: Excellent vibes about this place! I believe it was a 'Dale' spotted us coming in and immediately made sure we had seats, which was highly sound of him and welcoming. Got seated next to and chatting to a long established regular 'Nathan' who was beyond civil and a credit to himself and to the pub. Pub itself is super cool, well presented, well lit, great music, superb beer garden, very relaxed, and drinks were spot on and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. Not just one of the best bars in Sligo, one the best bars in the country I reckon. Well done to allđź‘Ś

11/11/2025: Love this hotel got a fantastic balcony room it was outstanding got a lovely treat as we were celebrating 40th wedding anniversary, the hotel is so central in Sligo, private parking underneath hotel a small fee for secure parking. Our meal was beautiful and breakfast was outstanding too can’t wait to go back. The hotel staff was outstanding and attentive great hotel to visit.

Riverside Restaurant

15/04/2026: My family stayed in the Riverside Hotel recently while my husband was attending hospital. We have stayed here several times, but this stay especially warranted a review. The lady at reception, Erin, quite literally moved heaven and earth for us. She went above and beyond to help us. She is an absolute credit to the hotel! A lovely woman, the hotel is blessed to have her!
11/04/2026: Absolutely no complaints. Food was amazing, staff were so friendly and room was spotless. Definitely come back again

17/04/2026: Really nicely located by the river. But unfortunately had a bad experience. It was not very busy, and my coffee took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. The hot chocolate came completely cold, and the cream on top was sour and gone off. I would be hesitant to come back sadly.

26/03/2026: Disgusting. First, I waited for someone to come up to me and order, even though there were no other customers. Then I spent half an hour explaining what I wanted, but they didn't understand me; the person barely spoke English. The place has no atmosphere, like a cafeteria at a bus station. The food is disgusting. I ordered fried octopus with vegetables. The only vegetables were onions and a few pathetic carrots. The octopus wasn't fresh; I spat it out into a napkin. The service was also terrible. They didn't ask if I needed anything else, they didn't even bring me water. I won't come here again.
