07/09/2026: I would rate this place a 5 star McDonalds based on the food quality alone. Have been several times and have to say the quality of food is far better than any McDonalds in Cork. Keep doing it right.

26/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic chipper and easily one of my favourite places to eat. The food is always fresh, hot, generous and full of flavour, with everything cooked just the way it should be. The quality is consistently excellent, and you can tell there’s real care put into what they serve. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal or treating yourself to a proper takeaway, this place never disappoints. I’ve been back time and time again and it remains a firm favourite. Excellent food, excellent service and great value. Five stars without hesitation — highly recommended!

20/08/2026: Not getting the take away often and this is still the favourite place to go in Midleton BUT every next visit it’s getting worst. The food is great! Just the service level is getting careless. Ordered 2 meals no onions and you wouldn’t believe the amount of onion in the food and fresh sprinkle on top of it as well. If it was a joke then well done! I should check it there but that’s what happens when you trust and expect your order to be right. The other thing was that we were told 5 mins. After almost half an hour we were showed 2 fingers. Not sure if that was for 2 minutes or sign for peace but it was another 10minutes. We wouldn’t mind if we were told upfront that they were busy. The fact that you pay when you order really doesn’t give you the freedom to walk away after 30mins wait. Anyway grateful for this little gem only have to be checking the order right there and probably wait another half an hour and upset the workers.. not worth the trouble so that’s why take away is just rare occasion for us even though we love lamb kebab. P. S.: we tried the kebab pizza no onions for very first time and never again. Wondering how pizza with onions looks like. Just onion??

08/08/2026: First time in a long time I've eaten in a supermacs. I would happily return for seconds. Staff were great super helpful no messing about. Family and I had a wonderful experience and would recommend for food in the town

17/07/2026: Popped in for an ice cream cone on a hot day as I love supermac's ice-cream. We were handed cones with a very small amount of icecream and when I questioned why the cones had gotten smaller than usual I was told that was what they have been instructed to do now.

01/05/2026: First time trying Donatellos and would highly recommend it. The pizzas were cooked perfectly, looked great, tasted fantastic and were reasonably priced. Would certainly have no hesitation from ordering from here again.

18/08/2026: partner and i have frequented to this place two or three times during our time out in the town. it’s pretty affordable and the food is good for the price . the chips taste frozen store bought but the burgers taste home bought or at the very least seasoned. my girlfriend , not a huge beef lover really likes the burgers too . the store looks family run, with the same three or four staff members on the occasions we’ve gone in . the pricing is extremely reasonable especially considering it’s in the middle of the town . our total averages to 12€ spent on a meal. nothing fancy but great chipper and a recommended take away with warm welcoming staff who know a thing or two about hospitality.

02/06/2026: Cod and chips and calamari and chips, €14.50 each. Frozen chips, fish and calamari only grand. Do not reccomended, very dissatisfied, overpriced completely for what it was.

12/08/2026: The food really isn't the problem here in my experience. The young lad on the drive through needs to start speaking up. When asking him the options for desert menu you can barely hear what he's saying, it's always one big muddled, muffly sentence. This is on the third occasion we've noticed this.

08/07/2026: Was in Mallow here visiting family a few months ago and went to McDonalds to get myself and my niece a treat, when some young chubby blonde girl with a nose piercing gave the worst customer service experience I had ever experienced in all my 40 years of life. My order was wrong, She was being snide and cheeky and to be honest I was so horrified I just left and said nothing. Absolutely do not interact with her if you come into contact with her. It’s a wonder if her parents ever put manners on the girl!! I was absolutely outraged 🤬🤬🤬 disgusting establishment was entirely filthy around too 🤢
