12/08/2026: Got 5 pizzas today on the wednesday offer, the wait time was quite hefty but its understandable as there was a lot of people. The lad at the counter was very professional and calm despite some other customers showing attitude. Good food is worth a good wait however 🙏. Will be back soon

12/09/2026: We were driving to a relatives house for the night and was about to park when we saw the car with the food which is code for brilliant service. When we arrived at the house the food was delicious and fresh perfect amount and tasted great - good value

25/08/2026: Bit disappointed. Waited an age for our food. Others came and went ahead of us. Food was very poor. Onion rings were a disgrace. Chips portions were tiny and all stuck to the paper. Snack box was just ok.

21/07/2026: Generally a good drive through experience. They often are out of chicken thighs but not worthy to lose a star. The place has been super busy at times but they always manage to keep the orders flying out.. keep up the great work

11/08/2026: The food is really nice and tasty , but I have decided to stop going there.The guy who is taking the order/ working in the counter is very bad , he didn’t even know how to do customer service, if we are asking any doubt or just asking anything like that he is harassing the customer in a different mocking style without knowing anything and trying to charge higher price .

26/06/2026: I have eaten multiple times, until recently decided to stop. Food is ok , specially sauces are nice . But the big problem is service, the guy at the counter will charge you extra if you don't pay attention, another time they sold something which was not fresh, again you have to pay attention. Over the year quantity has reduced also

06/08/2026: Honestly, Max’s has become my number one takeaway. I’ve tried quite a few things from here over time and somehow they keep getting it right. The kebab is probably my favourite — properly tasty, generous and exactly what you want when you’re craving a good takeaway. The chips are delicious too, especially the taco chips… those are dangerous 😂 Once you start eating them it’s hard to stop. The pizza is really good as well, but the chicken deserves a special mention. Absolutely sensational. Crispy, tasty and full of flavour. It’s one of those places where I can order something different depending on the day and still feel confident that I’m going to enjoy it. What I appreciate most is that Max’s isn’t trying to be anything fancy. It’s simply a proper local takeaway doing the food people actually want, and doing it well. Portions are satisfying, there’s loads of choice, and the service has always been good in my experience. I’ve had kebabs, pizza, chicken, chips and taco chips from here and I genuinely keep coming back. If I had to choose one takeaway when I’m hungry and don’t want to gamble on somewhere new, this is the one. For me: number one takeaway. Keep doing what you’re doing, Max’s. 👏🔥
