Tuskar Takeaway in Ballygeary (or rosslare harbour)

Me and my wife stopped for fish and chips before getting the evening ferry. We thought it was good all round. Food is very nicely packaged with salt, vinegar, tartare sauce, and mushy peas. Good fish, good chips.

Staying overnight before boarding ferry…….we were recommended here by our accommodation and backed up via Google reviews……….they did not lie…..online order, service, quality, quantity and flavour were all exceptional….chips hot crispy and large, fish large, crispy, tasty and fresh, scampi juiced, crispy, hot and tasty. To top it all off, well packaged, tubs of tartare(Nice), lemon wedges, malt vinegar sachets forks and salt sachets…….what more could you ask for……?? Darned if I know, best we’ve had in a long time… We are from Australia and our F & C shops could learn a lot from this outstanding shop….🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺

Best fish and chips in Rosslare. Staff very friendly. If I stay in Rosslare I'm there for sure.

I often get fish & chips here before getting in line for the ferry because the fella behind the counter is nearly as handsome as me... oh and the food is ace!

We got our take away dinner for 8 last year 2025 the night before getting the ferry to Bilbao got to say really nice. So this year heading back before we get the ferry as everyone really enjoyed it, in fact it was one of the first things I got asked can we go to tuskers. Staff were really friendly and food was A+++ all at a very reasonable price. So see you there on the Friday 3rd July.

Delicious fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce Highly recommend getting food here before getting on the ferry- cheaper and better! Friendly service
