Excellent and grate value, I arrived after a long drive up from West Cork to be met by Sue who checked me in and showed me round. You can have Brakfast if you like but no evening meal however there are a couple of places where you can eat close by and get a pint. Otherwise you can call into Lilly's Cafe for a Pitza eat in or take out failing that Supervalue is next door for fruit, pastries etc. I can reccomend Ferryport house as a nice friendly place close to the Ferries also Free WiFi. 👍

Great spot if you are catching the early ferry. There are a couple of bars serving food nearby, one walkable, but not much else nearby. There is a TV room, and one in the room itself, but there is no other entertainment.

What an amazing B@B , The staff were so friendly ,and helpful, bed rooms where out standing, lovely atmosphere, I would highly recommend this little gem.

Tuskar Takeaway

09/06/2026: Me and my wife stopped for fish and chips before getting the evening ferry. We thought it was good all round. Food is very nicely packaged with salt, vinegar, tartare sauce, and mushy peas. Good fish, good chips.
04/06/2026: Staying overnight before boarding ferry…….we were recommended here by our accommodation and backed up via Google reviews……….they did not lie…..online order, service, quality, quantity and flavour were all exceptional….chips hot crispy and large, fish large, crispy, tasty and fresh, scampi juiced, crispy, hot and tasty. To top it all off, well packaged, tubs of tartare(Nice), lemon wedges, malt vinegar sachets forks and salt sachets…….what more could you ask for……?? Darned if I know, best we’ve had in a long time… We are from Australia and our F & C shops could learn a lot from this outstanding shop….🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺
