02/06/2026: The falafel burger is really nice, chips are just the right ratio of crunch to chomp, onion rings were nice BUT were a lil bit skinny inside da batter but that’s ok I still ate them all no bother, overall seriously nice place, can’t wait to bring my pals here

20/05/2026: I just recently tried this place and am sorry I waited so long. Their burgers are delicious but I also enjoyed the falafel sandwich.

13/07/2026: Love this place and the staff are friendly. But I do wish they had more staff, there's never enough people to handle customer queries, till and garden centre, and you absolutely need assistance.

12/07/2026: Our go to place. All the staff are absolutely lovely and well informed. It's not just a job for them- it's a passion. Café is also the same- out of this world food. 10/10 highly recommend :)

24/07/2026: Absolutely loved my visit to Ann McDonald’s Cafe! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The sandwich was so tasty and generously filled, and the coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a long time – rich, smooth, and perfectly made. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was impressively fast. It’s such a lovely, cosy place with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent coffee, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

29/07/2026: The Strand came highly recommended by our Airbnb host Clare from MPs at the Tissel. What a beautiful bar. Great food and service. Duncannon is walking distance from MPs Airbnb and Clare is such a thoughtful host, she gave us a lift to and from the Strand. Nachos are delicious

17/07/2026: My partner and I came to Mary Barry’s two days in a row 😍 - it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the crab claws and the prawn and chorizo. The service was excellent considering how huge the venue is. We will be back (even if it is travelling back from Australia 😂).

22/05/2026: This is a great little chipper. Called in as I was passing through Oilgate. When I ordered, I was surprised to see they were cooking the fish and chips fresh. I'm so used to seeing chippers in Dublin with precooked fish piled up,waiting to be dunked in hot oil. Not in PJs. I had goujons of fresh cod and chips, and were they good. No they were excellent. Cod was particularly good. Best ever. This is a great place to stop by. There is no seating inside, but they have tables outside. It's family run and it shows. Staff are so friendly & efficient. Btw, I also had a Wexford creation called a rissole. You should try it. It's really tasty. Definitely calling here again.
